gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Author Posted June 17, 2016 No there won't be. They are taking it out of the game. The rule states that contact is still allowed if initiated with a legal slide. Pillar's biggest problem on that play is that he barreled instead of staying down and taking his legs out, while not sliding past the bag of course.

Looks like all it took was a little Zaun for you guys to see that the slide was illegal. The voice of reason. The Manalyst.

jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Hockey is doing it right I think. Headshots are ridiculously dangerous and fighting #s are way down too. Unpopular opinion but I would be fine if they just took fighting out of the game completely. Ugh
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 You are? Me too. Where do you live? Kentucky.....you?
polar bear Verified Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Zaun is 100% right. What did Zaun say?

I enjoy fighting when tempers are flaring but I couldnt stand the goons that would just fight 2min into the game and then not play a minute for the rest of the game.

Not really.. Zaun also said that Pillar hit Herrera's foot which was illegal when it is not if the infielder's leg is in within reasonable proximity of the sliding lane going into the bag. You can clearly see Pillar didn't hit his foot intentionally.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 BBBB for board admin! Thanks Dylan, long time no speak!!! We were to be Epic !!! Lol

King Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 The Dylan/BBBB Home Run contest collaboration was supposed to be the next big thing. What a disappointment.
