THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Pillar having an absolutely atrocious game.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Is goins actually going to pitch? might have to see that He should but Gibbons might have too much pride.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Goins on the mound might be a nice career highlight before we banish him to AAA.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Is goins actually going to pitch? might have to see that hits like a pitcher maybe throws like a pitcher too

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 The resemblance to Kessel really is uncanny.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 The resemblance to Kessel really is uncanny. Unfortunately the performance is even more pathetic. Its rare to see a good reliever take a s*** right before his free agent year.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Goins on the mound could have atleast gave us a team building moment. Gibbons would deprive of us that and use the whole bullpen. We need 8 out of you tomorrow Sanchy! Than we gotta shut you down for awhile.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Time to shake up the offense again!
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Well that was a s*** show. Let's get the next two.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 rally!!!! U think about what u said before u typed it? Thole was at bat.
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Gavin Floyd must be hurt--incredibly wild and ineffective tonight. It's Gavin Floyd...Mediocre starting pitcher who's battled some tough injuries and is trying to make a comeback. Were we really expecting him to be a force in the bullpen? Never did understand the hype with him on the roster.

I mean, he was good in the spring, and he was supposed to be like 4th on the depth chart for Relief pitching. Cecil and Storen imploded now hes being thrown into a higher role, and consequently hes performing bad yes, but there was no reason for him to not be on the roster as this organization isnt exactly oozing MLB caliber pitching.
sawyerford Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I think he would be better as a 5th starter imo. But he's in a slump, he will come back to form (hopefully) he's not going anywhere because he's Shatkins boy.
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Well, Happ s*** the bed...Can't really be too surprised though, the guys been pitching way over his head. He's gonna have a few of these meltdowns from time to time, he had his share last year with Seattle. Disappointing that the offense was so over matched by Fulmer though. Sure, he's a good young arm but our "hyped" offense should have been better than that On the bright side!: our emerging young stud is facing former Jays farm-hand shitballer Matt Boyd tomorrow! I pretty much see this as a sure thing victory for the good guys:cool:

Good point. I have no problems with him on the roster, but I assumed he'd be used in mop-up duty or in a spot-start roll. I never imagined he'd be in high leverage, close-game, late inning situations. I was happy when he did well! but I just don't think he has the swing and miss stuff to really be effective in that roll.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Boyd got more rave reviews out of Tigers camp than anybody. Not sure why but I guess were about to find out. He wouldn't be the first lefty I expect us to crush to shut us down through 6 innings.

He wouldn't be the first lefty I expect us to crush to shut us down through 6 innings. He's performed well so far, but he's exactly the middle of the pack arm that I expect the Jays to crush. On the other hand I'm almost certain that Sanchez is the real deal and expect him to be the crown jewel of our rotation. Tigers are a RHB heavy grip it and rip it offense, so I'm fully expecting Aaron to carve them up. FINAL PREDICTION JAYS:7 TIGERS: 2

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 So should RealMin be banned from making GDTs now?
puphood Verified Member Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 OK I am going to say it Martin absolutely sux. He can't hit and he can't get a ball to second base this year and to prove it Thole replaces him......
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 So should RealMin be banned from making GDTs now? No GDT legend could have saved this game. It was really awful decision making though to take this one on.
