When you admit that Goins is nothing more than a defensive replacement and fringe major league 25th man. I will never bother you again. Brendan Ryan had himself a nice long career playing defense.

 

Lol, that's all i've ever said. The whole argument from my perspective is that Goins can stick on a 25 man. You think i think he should be starting?

But he should only stick on 25 man in an injury situation. Brendan Ryan was his max upside. You ignored the fringe part which means he will spend time in the minors drifting through waivers from team to team as early as next year. I assume we are using his final option when Tulo is activated.

Goins is a better defender than Ryan.

12 divisional games in a row...9 and 3. I would have been happy with 7 and 5. Way to go Blue Jays!

 

Yeah this has been an awesome run. Basically forced our way back in to it.

 

I really like the schedule up to the All Star break too. Lots of interleague and AL Central games.

No doubt. There lineup is old as f*** to. Do they have any solid offensive players coming up? I know the have Bird and that big f*** that plays outfield, but I don't know much about prospects, unless it involves hockey lol

Aaron Judge--near 30% K rate, 7 HR, OBP under .300.. The K rate is part of the reason he has yet to get a callup.

Gary Sanchez--injured and blocked by McCann/Romine.

Mason Williams--hurt

Jorge Mateo--still a ways off being in A+ ball.

Tyler Austin--no longer a prospect

Jake Cave--marginal prospect at best

Greg Bird--out unil 2017\

Tyler Wade--low power, bottom of the order guy projected

Ben Gamel--marginal prospect

 

Basically, the Yankees have no real impact players in the system that'll help right now this year.. Judge and Bird might help next season, and Mateo likely towards later 2017. Otherwise, the Yanks are in for a long rebuild..

I said before the 12 games that i'd be happy with 6-6.

 

9-3 is phenomenal, the team has been playing very well
