In the bottom of the ninth, the 24-year-old prospect crushed a Dustin Antolin offering over the wall in right-center field, lifting the Mud Hens to a 3-2 win over the Bisons at Fifth Third Field on Sunday. The comeback gives the Hens the 2-1 series victory and leaves the teams tied at three head-to-head wins apiece after their final meeting of 2016. The Bisons trailed 1-0 for seven innings before scoring two runs in the eighth. Leading off, Dalton Pompey beat out a three-hop grounder to second base as the throw from Jordany Valdespin was just late. Andy Burns then ripped a liner into left field that was bobbled by Moya, allowing both runners to move up an additional 90 feet. Matt Dominguez's fly to the track in left was plenty deep enough to plate Pompey for the tying run. Jesus Montero then hammered a ball high off the wall in right, just inside the foul line, which brought home Burns from second to make it a 2-1 game. In his seventh start of the year, Roberto Hernadez got himself in and out of trouble all evening. The big righty need a season-high 102 pitches to get through 5.2 innings but used his sinker effectively enough to induce three double-play grounders, entually stranding a total of seven Mud Hens. Hernandez's final line included 10 hits, a couple of walks, a hit batter, and four strikeouts but he still limited the damage to just a lone run before leaving in the sixth inning with two men on. That's when Pat Venditte arrived. The switch-handed reliever ended the frame, catching Anthony Gose looking at strike three. Venditte then rolled through the seventh and eighth, punching out a pair in both bottom halves. The 30-year-old has been lights out for the Herd in 2016 as he now has 21 strikeouts in just 12 innings at the Triple-A level. Dustin Antolin started the bottom of the ninth off by giving up a single to Gose who advanced to second on a Dixon Machado sac bunt. Gose then scored as part of Moya's 10th homerun of the year, handing Antolin his second loss. Chad Bell had his best start so far this season for Toledo as he tossed a full six innings of shutout ball. Bell rung up five Bisons and only allowed two hits as he retired 18 of 21 batters. BISONS NOTES: Jesus Montero's seventh-inning single extended his hitting streak to nine games…Dalton Pompey now has a road hit-streak of 11…Buffalo ends its Ohio road trip at 4-2…The Herd will now head home for a five-game stand at Coca-Cola Field, starting tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. in a clash with Columbus. http://i.imgur.com/q72oHIc.png http://i.imgur.com/MbOfuNv.png http://i.imgur.com/HysTeHD.png Manchester, NH - A terrific start saw the New Hampshire Fisher Cats score ten times in their first three at bats, and they rolled to an 11-8 win over Reading on Sunday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Lugnuts starter Angel Perdomo stole the early show, posting a career high seven innings while allowing only one hit, an infield single by Daniel Spingola in the first inning. Perdomo lowered his ERA to 1.45 and opponent batting average to .142. South Bend starter Carson Sands and reliever Craig Brooks matched those zeroes, with Sands limiting the Lugnuts to two hits and four walks in six innings before Brooks gave up a hit and a walk in the seventh and eighth. Starlyn Suriel (Loss, 1-1) was Jimenez's victim, working a scoreless eighth inning before serving up the 19-year-old's eighth home run of the season on a 1-0 pitch. Scott Effross (Win, 3-0) pitched ninth in perfect fashion to receive credit for the victory. Gunnar Heidt and Jake Anderson knocked doubles and Justin Atkinson delivered a single to comprise Lansing's three hits. Juan Kelly added two walks in four trips. Looking to avoid a four-game sweep, Lugs southpaw Ryan Borucki (1-1, 2.12) starts the finale of the four-game series at 2:05 p.m. Monday, opposed by South Bend Cubs left-hander Justin Steele (3-5, 6.19). The next Lugnuts home game is on Friday, June 3rd, a LAFCU Fireworks night against the Bowling Green Hot Rods. The weekend continues with Star Wars Night on Saturday, June 4th, also featuring postgame LAFCU Fireworks. Kings 3 Stars of the Night 1) Pat Venditte: Venditte was excellent out of the pen on Sunday for the Bison, striking out 5 of the 9 batters he faced. 2) Christian Lopes: The once highly touted second basemen had a nice day at the plate going 2/3 with a double and a walk. 3) Shane Opitz: Optiz, who owns a 26 wRC+ this season through 100 PAs in AA, had a day to remember going 3/4 with a double and a stolen base. Kings Platinum Arencibia 1) Andrew Guillotte: Guillotte, who started out the season as the Lugnuts primary leadoff hitter and had a 168 wRC+ through April, was moved to the 9th spot in the Lugnuts batting order tonight and went 0/3 with a strikeout. .228/.317/.304 before Sunday in May.

I think both him and Rios are in my top 5 prospects now. This is the thanks you get for your fine work King...criticism. Thanks so much for doing this.

I'm just pointing out the philosophy that I seem to be seeing. Don't worry about anything other than swing and miss. I just think that there's more to it than that. But it's possible I just need to be convinced as I'm old school, slowly learning about new school.

Sure there's more to it than that, but anything you see on a game to game basis is just random noise pretty much. It takes 8 full seasons for a pitcher's BABIP to stabilize in the majors, so you certainly shouldn't care about it in one start.
