Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 They are huddling on the mound to talk strategy about pitching Jimmy Paredes.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 David Ortiz pulls the ball a lot more than Saunders. The former goes oppo 18.3% of the time to the latter's 25%. Also lol @ criticizing a hitter for not being like David Ortiz. I'll guarantee you that Ortiz hits the ball the other with RISP with the shift on more often than Saunders does. I'm not comparing anyone to Ortiz, but the fact that a ball player of his stature is willing to sacrifice a bit of power to knock in a run when it's handed to him just goes to show he's team oriented. Maybe Saunders just doesn't possess the talent. I don't know.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 2 on none out let's go! Usually doesn't amount to much for us. I will be thrilled if they tie it
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Jimmy Paredes is putting the AL East on notice. The Orioles dropped him and now he's going to wreck havoc on the entire division. Almost killed a pitcher in his first AB and then goes oppo homer in his second. Pick your favourite Paredes parody song for me to write I'll get right on it. Been spending most their lives, living without Jimmy Paredes Been spending most their lives, living without Jimmy Paredes Keep spending most our lives, living in the Bluejays paradise Keep spending most our lives, living with Jimmy Paredes Power and the money, money and the power... or Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night I can see Paredes by the dugout light [Girl:] Ain't no doubt about it we were doubly blessed 'Cause we were barely five hundred but then Jimmy dressed there has to be a hundred songs with paradise. I'll keep working
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 That ball was drilled, very unfortunate but at least Tim Beckham f***ed up.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Giving Hurl a good look at dreamy Kiermaier. and I missed it. Trying to write parody lyrics
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Well not all of Jimmy Paredes' rockets are going to go for hits. There are fielders out there after all. But even Jimmy Paredes' outs are productive.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Yeah, they have such huge blindspots that Bautista and EE are 4th and 15th respectively in hitting since 2010. Looks like the league has really figured them out. I'm just talking recently. Calm the f*** down bro.

If you can show me some numbers to prove what you're saying, then I will side with you. I'm pretty sure Ortiz isn't sacrificing power at any time, but whatever.

Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 The amount of times we haven't cashed in with runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs is disgusting
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Goins has such an ugly swing.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I'm just talking recently. Calm the f*** down bro. You say this a lot, I can assure you I'm quite calm if not a bit frustrated that Pillar couldn't cash in there.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Jays should bunt more since they are so good at chasing in runners at 3rd and less than 2 out.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Please hurry Travis. I can't f***ing do it anymore. Get Goins off our tv screen.
Statman Verified Member Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Shapiro and Atkins must be disgusted.
