I really don't see how Bautista gets suspended. He made a bad slide and the punishment for that was handed out; he's out, and Smoak was called out.

 

I know Bautista can be an irritant to many, including myself at times, but it seems like a summary of his involvement in this is:

 

- he flipped his bat 7 months ago after hitting the biggest homerun he'll ever hit which rubbed people the wrong way

- he got hit in the ribs 7 months later

- got ticked off and made an illegal, ill-advised slide and two outs were declared instead of one as a result

- got punched in the face

- was restrained by Beltre so couldn't be involved anymore

 

I'm more upset with him that his slide cost the Jays an out in a one-run game.

Can only speak for myself but I have found it entertaining to have Weams actually be confronted to a differing viewpoint for once. I was really on the cusp with Testicles but then things kind of calmed down. I'm not opposed to banning either of these guys if this persists though. I just haven't found it really all that bad so far to be honest. That being said my opinion is just my opinion. I care about what the board wants more than I care about these Orioles trolls obviously. I'm more than willing to take action.

Nobody gets banned for being a fan of other teams. However, we've had history of both Yanks and Jays fans coming over and starting stuff up. Not just differing opinions but starting stuff up. You have to realize we have a real life celebrity who posts on our boards Roy firestone. He can't stand it when Jays and Yanks and Sox fans come over and cause problems. Hes requested in the past those that do most be banned or he leaves. That is where we are at. Everyone is reviewed on a case by case basis. Some of you if you apply may get in. But if you troll you'll be perma banned. Its simple as that.
