Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 So another thread has been completely derailed because trolling is not a bannable offense? Cool. It's pretty ridiculous. I actually wonder if the mods themselves are doing the trolling at this point.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 So another thread has been completely derailed because trolling is not a bannable offense? Cool. Yeah I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with the mods and Admin. Bunch of idiots
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Exactly. It's complete and utter horseshit nonsense. How is what Odor did any worse than what Reyes did? It's the same f***ing thing but in front of a national audience. This is completely baffling and arbitrary. Are you advocating that Odor be charged criminally?
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 What did Andrus do lol? He threw a weak punch at Pillar. Pillar wasn't really looking at him while he was throwing haymakers at someone else so it was a bit of a cheap shot but I mean of all the s*** to suspend that day that one didn't seem that egregious.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Are you advocating that Odor be charged criminally? That would be dumb
Cyborg Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 That would be dumb It wouldnt be dumb at all. It was blatant assault.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Gibbons got 3 games. lots of fans wishing it was years more. lol he got that for coming back on the field after having already been ejected.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 So another thread has been completely derailed because trolling is not a bannable offense? Cool. I'm not sure how this thread is derailed. It's a thread about the suspension no?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Rumors around twitter have Jose getting 5 games. Fair enough. For those saying he shouldn't have gotten suspended give me a break. He started a fight. Just because hes bad at fighting and got knocked into next week doesn't mean he wasn't at fault. Just a heads up in America if you come at somebody aggressive like that you better be ready to fight. Its go time. Hey weams, I took you up on your offer, joined your forum last night, still waiting for my e-mail of acceptance?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Eagerly awaiting Bautista's suspension. Saving the best for last?
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Speaking of being a ridiculous homer, please tell us again that Manny didn't throw his bat at the A's 3rd baseman?????? You do realize JD who he had the problem with was no longer in the game right? Why would he throw the bat at a random third sacker. The bat got away from him happens all the time. Look how many bats end up in the crowd.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 It wouldnt be dumb at all. It was blatant assault. There is no criminal charge in a consensual fight. Unless serious bodily harm is involved which wasn't the case.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 It wouldnt be dumb at all. It was blatant assault. my gawd, involving law enforcement for physical altercations in sport is absolutely retarded and anyone advocating for it should quit life
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 So you really equate beating up/shooting a gun at your wife/girlfriend to punching a guy in the face in an athelthic contest? What is wrong with you? Both are assault. This is not a boxing match or an MMA fight. Punching someone in the face at any other job gets you fired and taken away in a squad car.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Eagerly awaiting Bautista's suspension. Saving the best for last? Have they announced Chavez's suspension?
weams Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Serious question Jays fans...You guys really don't think Jose should be suspended a single game? That seems odd to me. He slid in hard to 2nd base very late. Then jogs right to Odor who was pissed off. Isn't that starting a fight?
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm not sure how this thread is derailed. It's a thread about the suspension no? Yikes.

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 my gawd, involving law enforcement for physical altercations in sport is absolutely retarded and anyone advocating for it should quit life When a hockey player use his stick to hit another player in the face and causes 17 stitches then criminal charges are laid and a conviction is registered. Fact!
Cyborg Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 There is no criminal charge in a consensual fight. Unless serious bodily harm is involved which wasn't the case. Consensual? Didnt look consensual to me.

Dead giveaway you've never been in a fight like a real man.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 It wouldnt be dumb at all. It was blatant assault. So now you want every pitcher who beans someone on purpose to be criminally charged? Chase Utley should be criminally charged? No, that's dumb. What happens on the field should be handled by MLB
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Consensual? Didnt look consensual to me. It certainly was, Odor just happened to get the first punch in.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Serious question Jays fans...You guys really don't think Jose should be suspended a single game? That seems odd to me. He slid in hard to 2nd base very late. Then jogs right to Odor who was pissed off. Isn't that starting a fight? Maybe 1 or 2 games. You're choosing to forget the fact that Bautista was only on base because he was hit intentionally. And he never "jogged" to Odor, they were like 5 feet away from each other after the slide.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Serious question Jays fans...You guys really don't think Jose should be suspended a single game? That seems odd to me. He slid in hard to 2nd base very late. Then jogs right to Odor who was pissed off. Isn't that starting a fight? We're really in virgin territory for hard slides. That slide was legal and fairly typical as recently as last year. Maybe a suspension for it but I feel like the fact that he's a repeat offender is more relevant than the circumstance of the slide itself. I just watched the video again. He did not by any stretch start the fight. He did not raise his arms until after the shove from Odor. When he's confronting Odor, he's clearly just yapping away at him. He started an argument not a fight. That's plain as day.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 The rule is the player is called out for an illegal slide. Bautista was called out. If he gets suspended you better start suspending every other player that gets called out at second for an illegal slide.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Bobcat just announced that Chavez will get 3 games.
