I know we'd all like to think that fight may have spurred something up, but Bautista got his s*** pushed in and is already having a rough time at the plate. I'd be surprised if there are any postives to come out of this especially since Chavez is going to be getting suspended for a few games for sure.

 

Maybe it will be a wake up call, I'm not counting on it though.

Beltre is the best. I think Bannister told him to hit him, I don't deny that. What Matt Bush did was wrong too. Texas did wrong...but Bautista deserved what he got too. Win the game should be the intention.

That everyone did what they were supposed to do. Rangers being pissed about last year should hit Bautista. Bautista should get his revenge. Odor should be pissed and throw a punch. The Jays should come off the bench and protect their teammate.

Completely agree. My first reaction when I saw it all was that the team's best hitters are about to be suspended. Hard not to see anything but a tailspin coming despite all this bro-y camaraderie horseshit. Jays blew another game that should have been in the bag but the big story is going to be the fight, chest beating, pride, whatever, and not the fact that this star studded roster is playing like a bunch of weak losers who got pretty much beat by possibly the most mediocre of mediocre pitchers to completely shut them down: Cesar Ramos.
