Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Are you f***ing kidding me Forsythe?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Are you really hating on Jose's pitch recognition? No, but he had no intention of swinging at the first pitch no matter what it was - could clearly tell that by his body language. And not surprisingly it was the best pitch he saw to hit. Sure that third strike was questiinable, but that was a poor approach in that AB. If he wasn't looking fastball in the middle of the plate to swing... what was he looking for?
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 JD smashes it right at the guy. Forsythe dribbles it through. f***.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Beautiful Stro, let's keep that up! An 0-2 breaking ball, who would have thunk it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Longoria has looked awful for a while. He might be done as well. (Not that I mind when he plays the Blue Jays)
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Pete Walker is pissed about that K.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Not sure, but I guess you could teach him a thing or two. Because nobody who hasn't played major league ball could ever have a clue on a good approach? Not saying anything about him overall, just that particular AB was poor.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Walker to Stroman "what you trying to prove with that k"
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Pete Walker is pissed about that K. You know it lol.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Stro's throwing some 4SM today, which is great to see.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Souza clearly doesn't like the fastballs up, let's make use of that.
Praxis Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Walker: Listen Stro, just pitch to contact OK? Stro: But-but-but I can strike players out t- Walker: Just pitch to f***ing contact or you'll get the Hutchison treatment, OK? Stro: Yes boss.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Different look for Stro, with the socks.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Walker: Listen Stro, just pitch to contact OK? Stro: But-but-but I can strike players out t- Walker: Just pitch to f***ing contact or you'll get the Hutchison treatment, OK? Stro: Yes boss. The "Yes boss" line makes it seem like this conversation could have happened in the 1940s LOL.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Stro looks so much better when he uses the 4 seamer and more breaking balls...his approach early this season was been puzzling.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Different look for Stro, with the socks. And plenty of 4SM fastballs in place of 2SM! Encouraging so far.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Beautiful Stro, let's keep that up! An 0-2 breaking ball, who would have thunk it. I'm surprised he went with the curveball instead of the slider
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Ump almost had a seizure on that strike call.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Too close to take, they need to start protecting the plate.....go the other way.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 That ump looked excited to wring up Edwin, what did Edwin do to you lol?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 The way EE is hitting qualifying offer maybe too much
