Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Martin and tulo need a night out on the town, jesus
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Why the hell is Martin having such a hard time making contact
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Was hoping for a big inning but lets just get the W
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Pathetic inning are you f***ed?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Why the hell is Martin having such a hard time making contact I'd like to see you hit a 3-2 changeup with the shadows while gearing up for 98.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Nah, the 12 year olds think the only way to be a stud pitcher is to strike out 12 or 13 every game. That's the only road to success didn't ya know? Must be some pretty sticky posters of King Felix, Sale and a few other guys on the some of these closet queens walls. Look at the 10 top pitchers last season in the majors and then look at their strikeout totals and innings pitched. You will notice that both of high showing that there is no correlation between innings pitched and strikeouts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that inning was a good example of the value of Ks over contact. 2nd and 3rd, nobody out. Pretty much any contact with score at least 1 more run. Ks, however... well, you see the result.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I don't understand how guys like Tulo and Martin who have been great hitters for years can swing straight through fastballs day after day.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I'd like to see you hit a 3-2 changeup with the shadows while gearing up for 98. Yep, Tulo and Martin both had good at-bats there, despite the K's.

Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Yep, Tulo and Martin both had good at-bats there, despite the K's. Yeah, it was nice to see them fouling some off.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Martin's K wasn't a fastball. I know, but im just saying in general these past couple weeks. I'm sure they'll be fine, but they just look terrible right now
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Martin, Cola, Tulo and Smoak need to go out and run a train on a fat chick after the game.

The only contact that rivals a strikeout is an infield pop out. .......which a pitcher has literally zero control over.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Martin calling too many fastballs again.. sigh..
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Look in the mirror, then watch the 40 year old virgin, .....as you look in the mirror....and listen to the the line where buddy repeatedly tells Petey to go f*** a goat! Wat? lol
