THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Has anyone bothered to admit the possibility that Sanchez just doesn't want to throw his secondary pitches? Perhaps, but Martin has a history since last season of calling far too many fastballs, so it's not like this is random thought. If Sanchez is saying that, then Martin has to approach the mound and talk him out of it. Once the timing is down, it's BABIP city unless more off-speed is used.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Tulo is worse than Stanton 2016

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Ok but how is Martin suppose to force him to throw it? It doesn't matter if he calls it or not, if Sanchez doesn't want to throw it he's not going to. Martin's the general out there, he has to get through to him, if that's the case. All he has to point to is the Tampa game.
93 Jays Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Just seems like the same s*** every single game. Dumb error that costs the team from some guy who isn;t doing a single thing to help his team. Not the best command from /sanchez, but Martin? Thanks fort allowing the Sox some hope and momentum, your 3 for 35 has helped and an error with 2 outs like that? You're worth every dime of that 80 million. Opened the door, watch what happens....would help if sanchez would throw some strikes though to help get them through to Osuna though but this 3-0 count every second batter....
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I change the channel when Tulo is up these days.

Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I would really like this offense to break out, and go on one of their signature tears.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Couple first inning runs, then the bats fall silent. Every. Damn. Game.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 If Sanchez can't throw the fastball for a strike, what makes us think his secondary pitches would fair better?
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Couple first inning runs, then the bats fall silent. Every. Damn. Game. It's getting rather annoying. It also makes for very boring games.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 If Sanchez can't throw the fastball for a strike, what makes us think his secondary pitches would fair better? In the very least, it would mess up their timing.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 You need to go eat a hamburger or something He's not really wrong. Seems like every fielding mistake ends up changing the game. Plus no one can hit. Jays are awful to watch right now.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 One run lead against Red Sock at Fenway = L game
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 If Martin doesn't start calling the off-speed, it will be BABIP city real soon.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Martin with 4/75 remaining on his deal for his age 33-36 seasons, and Tulo with 5/100 remaining for his age 31-35 seasons. AA knew what he was doing when he bounced.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Damn, 1st hard hit ball for the Sox all night.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I have to say, the umpiring vs us this year has been suspect.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Ortiz loves him some Blue Jays pitching. Nice one Pillar.
