Zero? He's better than Smoak and Saunders vs L. I would even argue he's better than the results with a .255 BABIP vs L and .288 BABIP vs R.

What's your point? Are we paying those guys $15M a year? They're just JAGs that fill out our roster. I'm simply against making someone a high priced, key FA signing when their so easily neutralized late in games.

You said he was a zero vs L but he's actually an above averge lefty vs L. Hardly zero.

I just sorted wRC+ for LH hitters v. LHP between 2014 & 2016 with at least 250 plate appearances. Reddick's wRC+ of 65 is 48th of 57. That isn't above average sir.

Think of it this way....when Reddick faces LHP, he's as productive as Ryan Goins vs. RHP...

That is pretty brutal, I was looking at career... which is 86 wRC+ and is above average for a lefty vs L. Larger sample wins.

I'll take your word that a wRC+ of 86 is above average for a LHH vs. LHP...although I must say that is a little mind blowing. I guess they typically crush RHP, but that stat is one of the reasons I never got the infatuation with having LH/RH balance in a lineup....So many LHH are relegate to being a Ryan Goins type hitter late in games - even by underwhelming LOOGY's.

Personally - I prefer to look at the past 2-3 years when evaluating players because, well, players make adjustments. It's like looking at Russell Martin's career average and expecting him to hit .255 this year.....not going to happen.

Admittedly it doesn't look good right now (to say the least) but he isn't far removed from 2014 gaudy numbers including a .400 OBP. 2015 he wasn't far below .255, and he did post a career high in HRs. I hate what I have been seeing the latter of last year and so far 2016, but I still have hopes he will get it together.

He's been .211 to .240 avg, .311 to . 329 OBP in 4 of the past 5 years....that's the hitter he is...not the guy you saw in Pitts in 2014.

Blue Jays are scouting Josh Reddick and are one of 4-5 teams that are interested in trading for him before the deadline. Good time to get him via trade when his value is low. IMO I think his skillset would translate very well to the Rogers Center.

Come join your best friend Joshy Boy!!!

Reddick's wrist injury scares me in trying to trade for him this year. Rather look elsewhere and give him a call in the offseason.

But that hair though. He's pretty dreamy.

How can you even pretend to know this?

Name one blue Chip prospect we have. Morrissey was on the radio the other day and said the same thing. He talked about Alford as the Jays only prospect of worth and he is struggling

The cupboard is bare

no love for max pentecost, SRF, Greene, Pompey, Guerrero, Urena? I wouldn`t give up on Pompey. I still think he has some value.

I could see them wanting Tellez, Guerrero, Rios, Maese, Perdomo, Urena, Alford, and Reid-Foley.

It's extremely doubtful a blue chip prospect is required. A B and a couple C+ prospects at the most.

Depends on health it's clear were looking at an OF though. Trade rumours about to pickup big time!

Pompey and Tellez shouldn't be included in any trade talks for a rental. Both have good upside.

Of course we have prospects they would want. It's not exactly like Reddick is Mike Trout. Dogg is just dumn

I never said that we dont have propsect that they wouldn't want

The other teams have far better prospects and given that Reddick is going to be a wanted player, I doubt we will be able to compete.

Shake my head.

Keep shaking you head, maybe you will finally get your brain to work

Though I had a chance to talk to your wife/significant other, and she tells me other parts in your body haven't worked in years

Same with SRF.
