Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Every time I see Pete Walker, I can't keep a straight face. Always picture the way he looked at Donaldson during the fysmc incident. lol
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Biagini's pitch tracker kind of looks like a game of battleship
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 2 run game, why are they waving the white flag?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Smoak is kind of mediocre but he's not as bad as he looks right now. Colabello might actually be this bad. Overall, it's not a great situation. At best it's serviceable and cheap. At worst, well if it comes to that there are other options like Pompey or trading for a full time bat by the deadline.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Will Gibby pinch hit Thole here or naw?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 He looks pretty fatigued out there.
darkness_falls Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 2 run game, why are they waving the white flag? What do you mean?
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Will Gibby pinch hit Thole here or naw? Definitely.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Will Gibby pinch hit Thole here or naw? No you need Martin to get the full day off before 3 day games.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 What do you mean? isn't biagini a scrub or have I mistaken?
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Will Gibby pinch hit Thole here or naw? No, thole will get hbp and then Gibby will run for him with Martin
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Oh, okay. I don't know anything about his defense at first. I just know he gets on base. Oh I don't know either. I'm just saying that even if it's bad, pushing EE to 1B isn't the end of the world.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Is Gibbons smart enough to pinch hit Thole?
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Goins always doing the cross in the dirt, God can't make you stick Ryan.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 isn't biagini a scrub or have I mistaken? Biagini is a prospect of sorts. Picked up in the rule 5 because the front office sees something in him. They talked him up in the spring.
Patrick Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 there's the answer. So much for resting Martin.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 name one... not trying to be snarky, genuinely curious Justin Mourneau? I know no one makes trades now but I wish they got someone else this offseason. Jaso was there for the taking.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Oh I don't know either. I'm just saying that even if it's bad, pushing EE to 1B isn't the end of the world. Yeah, I agree. I was just pointing out that it could have been nice to sign Jaso. He's making $4million, and Smoak is making $3.9million. Smoak has more control though, I guess...

Seriously, I know I've said this enough times but putting EE at first, cycle Saunders/Bautista at DH, Pompey up as a starter and end the Smoak/Cola show. This improves us in a couple areas including a possible lead off man, added speed, upgrading some outfield defense. It just makes so much sense. Trade or DFA Cola and keep Smoak as a switch hitter on the bench with some pop.
Patrick Verified Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I wonder if someone coming in as a pinchhitter was ever batting .069 before

Governator Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 At least Gibby put Martin in.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 These strikeouts are actually discusting
