Guys, Wade LeBlanc really f***ing sucks.

People forgot about Scott Diamond who showed his skills up here in that one appearance!! This is nothing, cash may help. More than this guy

Ceciliani getting the start in RF today. Travis in the leadoff spot.

I've always known placing the best hitters as high up as possible was the best strategy, but ever since Gibby put Donaldson in the 2-slot last year I can't help but be completely grossed out by any 1-2 combos of speedy guy/other guy before getting to the good stuff. Gibby should really stop randomly doing it.

I think it's his compromise between his old school mindset, and new school pressure.

Maybe I'll compromise on lunch. Maybe I'll mix my soup with my burrito. Hopefully it holds together! Soup's been doing a good job on Wednesdays and burrito is 1 for 5 in 7 PAs on sunny June afternoons.

When Sanchez gets moved to the BP are we running an 8 man pen or will someone get cut? Girodo's spot will be Cecil's soon and Biagini is here for the year. It could also mean someone is available for trade such as Floyd / Chavez / Storen? I believe Osuna/Sanchez are the only arms that can be optioned.

Don't forget Morales will be up here as well. I still don't think Sanchez will be moved to the pen unless there is a dramatic drop off and fatigue or soreness is the reason.

Yeah, Gibby's stance has softened a bit

It's seems no longer 100% sure moving Sanchez to the pen will happen automatically

Honestly - if he's still pitching well in Aug/Sep, AND they're in playoff contention AND he looks/feels OK, they HAVE to keep him in the rotation

Lol what the f***

Rich Hill in 2015 before his call-up:

8.07 K/9, 2.51 BB/9, 3.59 FIP

It's not unreasonable to expect great contribution from him if we called him up, the peripherals are great.

Sanchez leads the starting rotation in FIP (3.36) and WAR (1.9). He also leads in SIERA.

Estrada has a better ERA

I suspect either Floyd will have reached his expiry date - or we'll ship Biagini back to SF. He's good depth, but I'm not sure he'll ever be anything special anyway.

Again, the peripherals are great, explain how it's unreasonable.

Cause it's the minors and its Wade Leblanc. Likelihood of him being successful is slim.

He sits 87 on his fastball and has been terrible in the majors. AAA is littered with 30+ year olds who dominate the younger competition but are replacement-level MLB talent.

Well we don't have many of them and we have no one behind Hutch for a spot start or two.

I'm not willing to commit to that yet.

He's struggled of late. And yes, I understand SSS...but I'm just saying...it looks like hitters are adjusting. Can he re-adjust back. I hope he can...but there's a reason he's only made his ML debut this season. Let's see if he can right his ship.

I wonder whose bag it was.

Souns like he needs a body break.

All I'm saying is that both Hill and LeBlanc are soft tossing lefties, and LeBlanc seemed to develop strikeout ability this season, so he was worth keeping for depth purposes at least. It's not like he performed like Diamond or Wolf (last season) where neither had strikeout ability.

Oh I agree, but he's stuck on the 25 man roster regardless because he's a rule 5 which is all I meant by here's here for the year.

Have you ever actually watched Rich Hill pitch?

Rich Hill is a former top prospect who sits 90 from the left side, has a wipeout curveball that he commands in the zone, and had his career derailed by injuries. Wade LeBlanc is a junkballing 87 mph replacement level hack.
