Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 ^ We haven't won anything yet except 2 games. I so want to close TEX out strong and with conviction. This.

Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I'm starting to think Travis is made of glass. Hopefully Liriano's results come back clean. Still don't trust him as much as most people seem to. It's like everybody wants to forget his struggles for the vast majority of the season in favour of a few nice outings lately. Nonetheless, between him and Loup, I'll take my chances with him any day.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 If Liriano is DL do we move Dickey on to the playoffs rosterb

Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 If Liriano is DL do we move Dickey on to the playoffs rosterb Given that the extra pitcher was insurance against Osuna's status, and Osuna does seem okay, I assume we put a position player (Pompey?) back on.
Masterbather Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Martin made the difference...He has been solid in a Jays uniform. Yeah, I get the Martin connection, but I'm not prepared to sell out to that notion. I consider Liriano a big unknown in these playoffs. Quite frankly, he wasn't looking too hot in that game before he got plunked.

I didn't even realize Pompey was left off. I'd think he'd be more valuable than someone like Feldman. What is Feldman's role? Mop up man if they're getting blown out?
TorontonianJD Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Liriano with mild concussion per twitter. No timetable for return.

Or give him credit on Benoit (who never pitched with him)? I just hope Lariano pulls a Estrada and becomes a 3 WAR pitcher again. At this point I am just blaming/crediting the Toronto water more than Martin.

You can't do that, it would have to be a pitcher, and we lose Liriano for the next series... no thanks.

flafson Verified Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Liriano with mild concussion, I don't think he's going to play anytime soon.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 So can we add Goins and Pompey to the roster with Travis and Liriano out. Or do we have to add a pitcher in which case that should be Danny Barnes.

I'm hoping we can close it out and Liriano can be good to go on Friday.
