Upton hits lefties well, so he bats 9th against one tonight, while he's not good against righties, yet on Thursday against a righty he batted 6th ahead of Tulo.

But where does he say Stroman was too short to start? There are plenty of guys that project as relievers...I didn't see where he said it was a height related thing.

Man, I just saw Jose Bautista's numbers on the season. Yuck. Why isn't he getting more flack? He's been awful this year and it's already August. I know he's been hurt, but damn.

 

Enters spring training with his chest puffed out, causes a distraction for no reason by saying he wants 5/150 and that he's not budging from that number, bashes ownership, talks about how he's so great, and how he'll defy aging, etc, etc. Since then, he's played like ass offensively and defensively, gotten hurt, and became a meme for the rest of his career by being punched in the face.

 

I wish he had a 5 WAR season this year and then rode off into the sunset, but he almost had this coming by the way he acted in Feb/March.

He's always been a douche. Too bad he wasn't traded 2 seasons ago.
