L54 Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Ya Jays off days are s***** enough, never mind having no baseball at all. They're the darkest days of the season no doubt.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 That's a long time. I always hate our off days, but at least there are other games to watch. Absolutely no baseball at all is terrible. I hate it as well. But I see the benefit in it so that makes it easier. Pillar is hurting you could see that in his recent outfield play, Those 4 days off can do him wonders. Hes got a big spacious outfield to run around in Oakland. I saw his Instagram pictures. Hes loving life. I actually hope Donaldson only pinch hits and doesn't play the field just to keep him off his feet.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 its good for our boys though, so consider that.
admin Site Manager Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 This was probably already posted here, but in all my years watching baseball, I don't think I've seen a ball move as much as this: https://gfycat.com/HorribleLargeHypsilophodon

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 The All-Star break is the worst part of the season by far. I hate it. The events are for us kids not you old farts!!!! . But seriously I enjoy all events including the celebrities game, it's nice to see a break from the seriousness half way, it's a good mental break, it's a long season man

admin Site Manager Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Looks like a wiffle ball. almost wonder if that ball had an internal defect Good theory, looks fake how it just takes off.
admin Site Manager Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 God that would be filthy if he front doored it. That's what I was thinking. Imagine he could do that every pitch. Inside outside inside. Would probably be impossible to tell your body it's not going to hit you.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Reporters asking Edwin if he wants to replace Big Papi. f*** off you shills. And Edwin gave some great answers, speaking in English too. Makes Bautista look even more unprofessional for his comments in spring training.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Reporters asking Edwin if he wants to replace Big Papi. f*** off you shills. How awesome would it be for him or Bautista to hit a walk off jack in game 7 of the ALCS creating a hatred similar to Rangers.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 And Edwin gave some great answers, speaking in English too. Makes Bautista look even more unprofessional for his comments in spring training. Recap of what he said?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Recap of what he said? Basically said he's worried about the jays right now, and winning the World Series. says he will worry about his contract in the offseason
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Saunders said Edwin sings the Canadian anthem every game. “I was singing it in my head,” Saunders said. “I was caught up in the moment, just signing the anthem. I was listening to Eddie [Edwin Encarnacion] singing it. He sings the Canadian anthem every time. I must have just been caught up in the moment. I didn’t even realize that.”
