bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Why is EE not playing today? Dropped the appeal of his suspension
bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Why is EE not playing today? Because Vic Carapazza is terrible at his job
AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Why would they drop the appeal on a day when Thole is in the lineup. So f'ing stupid.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Why would they drop the appeal on a day when Thole is in the lineup. So f'ing stupid. Perhaps Donaldson has to DH today, perhaps Edwin is hurt. Many possible explanations.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 would be nice to win the last game before the break. 3 of 4 this series would be great
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Is JD hurt? Could be possible he's a bit banged up but if Smoak and Edwin aren't playing in the same game its a good idea to rest one of JD or Tulo and use Barney in the field.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 The Jays lost and O's won already today??? Alright... I guess I don't have to watch the games! Lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Donaldson should sit out the All-Star game to get whatevers nagging him completely healed.
VE2OH Verified Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Donaldson should sit out the All-Star game to get whatevers nagging him completely healed. That is like asking a boy to give up loosing his virginity because he has a head ache.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 That is like asking a boy to give up loosing his virginity because he has a head ache. No.
VE2OH Verified Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 No. Would you give up a chance to play in the all star game.!!!!! Think about it don't just react.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) That is like asking a boy to give up loosing his virginity because he has a head ache. It's not his first all-star so hard to say he's losing his virginity. But it's probably a valid point. Edited July 11, 2016 by flafson

Of course I wouldn't but I'm not a defending MVP either am I? To think that this would mean as much to Donaldson as it would to you or me is absurd. Think about it don't just post something stupid.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Donaldson should be fine to play 3 innings and have 1-2 at bats.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Donaldson should be fine to play 3 innings and have 1-2 at bats. He's not a starter, that won't happen.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Anybody know how this compares to the Raptors regular season games or Leafs?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Donaldson should sit out the All-Star game to get whatevers nagging him completely healed. Eh. Marco Estrada seemed pretty bummed out that he couldn't pitch. I think these players worked their bums to be here at this point and probably really want to play here. He took off from the Home Run Derby and he gets 3 days after. I don't thin 3-4 innings are that bad for him tbh, he's not gonna play with the same intensity
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 This franchise is crippled. Pocket those profits, Rogers. Pocket away...
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Pocket those profits, Rogers. Pocket away... Baseball teams should run their businesses like farmers do. You don't get too high (or spend like a drunken sailor) during the good times and you don't get too low during the bad times. Even keel.
GreekFatAss Verified Member Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Pocket those profits, Rogers. Pocket away... Yea, it was so cheap of them to sign Estrada and Happ over going for the more proven ace in Price.

You don't get too high (or spend like a drunken sailor) during the good times and you don't get too low during the bad times. Even keel. Never heard of a World Series of Farming before. I bet if there was one, the competitive juices would start flowing and they'd all be trying to get the finest tractors money could buy to one up the competition.
