When Travis is back my lineup is...

 

Travis

Paredes (DH)

Donaldson

Bautista

EE

Saunders

Tulo

Pilar

The Catcher.

 

I use Smoak only for defense and to give EE time off when he needs it..Smoak has had a good start but he will kill any rallies they get..

Of course,if EE can't play first on a regular basis then Smoak has to play..

Paredes jokes are a candidate for the worst meme in forum history.

 

Oh don't be such a scrooge! I'm getting lots of bites on them. I was going to drop it but Jimmy Paredes has been ripping the ball in his 5 ABs since I started. I was going to stop today but this wacky lineup has Jimmy Paredes playing 2B so I couldn't resist.

 

He also has a non-zero chance to be a decent player IMO. He's going to have hit the ball hard and do it often given those piss poor K and BB ratios but J.D. Martinez, Trevor Story, etc. have shown us a blueprint for that.

 

But hey, if you think the jokes suck (and they probably do) don't worry there will still be plenty of room here for you to cook up trade offers for every individual player on our team during what you hope becomes a 5 year rebuild!

I'm wanting but not expecting things to drastically improve overnight but thank f***ing god we are getting what most of us wanted before the 2016 stink ass shitshow thus far started = Jose leadoff.

 

Props to the team leaders for pushing this. It cant get worse.

 

Lets go Jays!! 2016 starts tonight.

I'm trying to temper my expectations, but I'm so excited for his return. Of course, realistically he doesn't have to provide too much offense and he'll still be massive upgrade from what we've been going with.

What's funny is people thinking Hale has free reign on the club, everything still goes through Gibbons. He can't be in the dugout, that's it.
