He has the ability to be 2 pitchers. As a team that has carried an extra pitcher the past few years he has tons of value if he can be even average on both sides of the arm.

TBH I think if anyone can surprise in the AL East it will be Tampa Bay. Their starting pitching and defense are good, they just can't hit at all. The Yankees and Boston are overrated and Baltimore was lost before they started.

 

Don't get me wrong though, barring injuries we are again the class of the division this year.
