If we see him on the MLB roster at any point, there is something wrong

 

Once Travis comes back, there shouldn't be any reason to go that deep on the depth chart.

Given we already paid a $1 million buyout to him this year, he's probably our second highest paid middle infielder after Tulo. I'm assuming Goins, Barney, and Travis are all on <$1M deals

I can only assume this is organizational good faith towards AA after Izturis threatened to release the pictures that led Alex to give Maicer a guaranteed $9M.
