Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Open your eyes, we live in a cissexist heteropatriarchy You *******s live in Justin Trudeau's Canada where I assume everything is perfectly balanced and neutral. Like I heard that his cabinet is fully representative of every group possible... at least that's what American hippies tell me.... Little known fact -- As much as you guys diss America as backwards, it is like 45% hippy. The American Hippies love Trudeau.... they were so happy he got elected. They are all planning to move there if Trump gets elected.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Maybe a dude proposed to him. Maybe he inherited his dead grandma's ring and he's not even engaged. no one's dead Grandma has a bentwood ring.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 no one's dead Grandma has a bentwood ring. I had no idea what a bentwood ring was...google...these rings are amazing. Wow. Very cool man.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I had no idea what a bentwood ring was...google...these rings are amazing. Wow. Very cool man. I'm personally opposed to wearing all rings that go north of the hips but I would have preferred a wood ring to my clunky gold ring that I could not stop playing with when I was wearing it. Which reminds me I really should sell that thing.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Likely Orthodox, men get engagement rings also. Well, I did, she was Greek. Maybe. That's a neat tradition. I really just wanted to congratulate him, but apparently that's not politically correct.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Maybe. That's a neat tradition. I really just wanted to congratulate him, but apparently that's not politically correct. Congratulating someone is cool, making assumptions about their sexuality, not so cool. I'm really just breaking your balls though, because this is a form of silent discrimination that I have to navigate on a daily basis.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Whoa, those rings look way freaking cooler than stupid diamond rings, and they are a fraction of the price! Now I want one.

Now I want one. I thought the exact same thing. Why didn't someone f***ing post this 3 weeks ago so I could give it to my wife for Christmas and look like the man? Damn you guys.
Thomas Malthus Verified Member Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 My fiance got mine from etsy. There's this one store based out east that offers a cray good warranty on their rings. We didn't go with them but I just thought I'd mention it.

I truly don't mean to bother you, but life is about making assumptions. They could both be intersex or something too, but I'd never finish my post if I went through every possibility. People make assumptions about you every day based on your nationality, your height, the colour of your skin, and more. Once acceptance becomes more common, I don't you'll be as sensitive to it. I get asked if I play basketball like 3 times a day and I don't, but being really tall is just the way I am, so it's fine. Edited December 23, 2015 by Grant77
