BTS Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Looked at the list of available talent and fell violently ill. I'll select 3B Colin Moran, who had a huge finish to his rookie season and will carry that into a big breakout year. It's brutal. I was looking forward to seeing what was available this morning, and did not enjoy the experience as much as I expected. I hate almost everyone on my draft board.

I hate almost everyone on my draft board. I think that's partially due to the consequences of having up to 22 keepers.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Interesting that I looked at the catchers this morning and said "I should have traded Sal P". I guess I didn't get trade value out of it but at least I know what catchers are available.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Matt Boyd Will PM next Honestly a top 50 starter is great at this point. He's better than more than one of my keepers...even if he's traditionally a guy that goes into the 3rd round in these waiver drafts.
MrAllDay Verified Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Sorry to bug. Is there a place with all the players taken other than the excel spreadsheet and yahoo? Trying to copy the taken names to my draft list to fix it up and ya, its brutal

MrAllDay Verified Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Thanks guys. 1 more Q. looking at Waiver Draft list, im gonna assume im BB (Burlington Bandits) ? edit: lol found everything i needed.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Honestly a top 50 starter is great at this point. He's better than more than one of my keepers...even if he's traditionally a guy that goes into the 3rd round in these waiver drafts. And he's in his prime at 28. Could see an uptick in the numbers
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Thanks guys. 1 more Q. looking at Waiver Draft list, im gonna assume im BB (Burlington Bandits) ? edit: lol found everything i needed. Yeah. Also, in case you were unaware, league rules are in the first post of this thread.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Matt Boyd Will PM next Agree with Hurl, good pick. He was one of the few intriguing arms available
EZe Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 If anyone's interested in moving up to this current pick send me an offer. I'm looking for 2 picks averaged around the 20 range. I can include a later pick in the package. If there's no interest I'll make this pick in approx 1 hour.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Standard 1-hour trade window is going to apply here folks. We kinda flew off the rails a bit for the dispersal draft and it ended up taking almost a month.

EZe Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I'll take Welington Castillo. Had to see if there was any interest because there's a really large gap until my next pick.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Memo to new guys: the talent level of the waiver draft is bad. Take the guy you want and don’t worry about it feeling like a reach.
EZe Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I prioritized other assets so I don't pick again until 68. I think I had a pretty good idea what to expect.
JG34 Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Checked the sheet and saw I’m up. Give me a couple minutes and I’ll make a pick. Remember to PM the next one up to try and speed it along!
JG34 Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I guess I’ll go with multi-positional Niko Goodrum. Will PM jaysblue.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Abomination selects Will Harris. King/Org are up (assuming that's still accurate).
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I have two waiver picks in the first round? Wow I never even knew that lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Brebbia and Canha. Please add your guys on Yahoo.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Probably a reach but I'll roll the dice on Greg Bird.
