BTS Community Moderator Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 He will. Which is why I traded for him. I don't love his bat at 3B. I would like to get more production from that spot I can't help but ask: why did you trade for him?!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I can't help but ask: why did you trade for him?! Price was right I was also going to make an offer before realizing I don't really have a 3B. Sad!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I can't help but ask: why did you trade for him?! What Boxy said. Acquisition cost was low. I didn't give up anything of value (to me). Gives me some flexibility to explore a Segura trade.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Heat up this hot stove, gents. To me: EE To the drunks: Mancini and Kieboom
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Heat up this hot stove, gents. To me: EE To the drunks: Mancini and Kieboom Oh wow, this is a heist for you
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Heat up this hot stove, gents. To me: EE To the drunks: Mancini and Kieboom They appear to be named correctly. They can expect a flood of offers the rest of the night, and other people may wish to try too
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 I love Keiboom but that's just not enough for a slugger like EE.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Eh, he's almost 35. Scary age for sluggers. I just hope he ages like Papi.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Heat up this hot stove, gents. To me: EE To the drunks: Mancini and Kieboom Absolutely repulsive deal for the drunks. This is highway robbery for you.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 i cant find the yahoo page.... does it get 'rebooted' each year?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 i cant find the yahoo page.... does it get 'rebooted' each year? Basically, yeah. We use the spreadsheet over the winter. You can sort of view the other by clicking on your name and then selecting the league.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Looking to move Segura or Cozart + prospect for a 3B. Hit me up if you need a SS.

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Hurl is now running GD’s old team
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Waiver picks are assigned on the sheet using the same rules as the MiLB picks. Please double check your teams to make sure everything looks right. As far as I'm aware, there are no outstanding issues.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I don’t have Yahoo access yet but I have some assets to move. My trade block: Tommy Pham Josh Reddick Lonnie Chisenhall Jed Lowrie Adrian Beltre Nick Williams Yoenis Cespedes Matt Holliday Anthony Alford Lourdes Gurriel Looking for insurance at SS, RP’s, and SP’s As always I'm not quick to respond and seldom accept a deal without taking a day or so to think about it.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 From GD to Hurl. Damn, that's a huge drop in league quality.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 From GD to Hurl. Damn, that's a huge drop in league quality. I'll be sure to throw a shalom before every "f*** you" response to your trades.

An offer for Pham from P2F is in the mail.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 I'll be sure to throw a shalom before every "f*** you" response to your trades. I don't bother sending you trade offers anymore, since you rarely bother to respond.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 I don't bother sending you trade offers anymore, since you rarely bother to respond. For the record this is the first year I have had any control of trades in the LOD. I was always the minor league draft guy in that combo and advisor on trades. Zach was always the yes or no man. If someone sends me a trade that I don't think is close or is disgusting I leave it there for them to delete. It's like putting a dogs nose in their s***... I want them to see the s*** they sent me. Trading with me is extremely difficult I understand that. But I also lose about 80% of the deals I make, so be patient and go through the back and forth on here (or my cell which is by far the best way to negotiate and I will give out that number to anyone that asks). You will be rewarded...well not you but the other 18 people in this pool.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Is Syndergaard going bald? https://www.mlb.com/news/noah-syndergaard-healthy-excited-for-2018/c-264394684 Hmm interesting. He's been training under the guidance of Eric Cressey so I expect Thor to win the Cy Young in 2018 (both Kluber and Scherzer are Cressey clients). A healthy Thor is an exciting thought for this upcoming year. Back to your original point, I don't think so. Hairline seems stable and that's likely just bad hair yanked back to keep it out of his eyes. Should probably upgrade his conditioner game.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Still looking to move a couple of pieces before the cut down. Will move 2-3 of the following: Dustin Pedroia (2nd round pick or back end top-100 prospect or SP4/5) Mark Trumbo (2nd round pick or back end top-100 prospect or SP4/5) Jason Vargas (basically free - any minor pick upgrade) Eddie Rosario (high end prospect or SP 2/3) Paul DeJong (high end prospect or SP 2/3) Robinson Chirinos (2nd round pick or back end top-100 prospect or SP4/5)
