The people I hear say "indian" the most are actually aboriginals. I never hear educated white people say that word in reference to aborginal Canadians.

Same here. I live next to a large reserve and they all went to my high school, so I have a fair bit of experience. They use it casually, just like African Americans call each other n*ggers. They're not really a minority here, so we rarely refer to race, but I've surely called someone an Indian a few times and never gotten a reaction. The politically correct word 'Aboriginal' is actually the least used term.

Kinda see bald spots forming, clearly past his prime. Jays are investing late in this, clearly.

In this photo he reminds me of the Chief in BattleStar Galactica. He's a number crunching fraking Cylon!

True. I never actually played that anyway. It was always cops and robbers.

For me it was humans vs lizards. I was always Michael Ironside.

I'm a damn speciesist.

Seems decent. Atkins is right, it's good enough to contend.

Right now, I'd do whatever is necessary to sign Heyward.

With the money being thrown around, he'll easily get over 200

ITT confirmation you shouldn't ask nerds on a baseball forum for advice on jeans.

If you're not in any rush for jeans, and you have a good fitting pair of jeans/chinos/pants and are cool with crowd funding and want hand made raw denim at affordable prices then https://www.weargustin.com/ is the place to buy jeans. They'll even tell you how to measure.

Interesting model they have going there...

Thanks for this, I think i may check it out. What would you say is an average price on a pair of jeans?

edit: I signed up. Pricing looks to be about what i would expect.

I own two pairs, both are 18+ months old and still in fantastic shape with normal wear fades but seams have held together and the crotch hasn't blown out. They're frankly the only jeans I'll buy at this point in time.

Yet so many people wear dad jeans, or jeans that don't fit, or are too long, have knee bags or droop off the ass because they're made from terrible denim. Jeans should last you 2+ years with everyday use and that includes working, hiking, camping, casual wear use, etc and if they don't you can safely assume the product is s***.

I'm kind of forced to buy good quality jeans because the cheap companies don't make a 36 leg.

A lot of people wash denim too much. Should only wash it a couple times a year.

That might work if you only wear them once a month, have no kids, and live in a concrete jungle. Real life has other ideas.

Grant its better to spot wash denim with a damp cloth than it is to machine wash. Once bacteria is in denim it doesn't really come out, for smell put them in a garbage bag in the freezer and the smell is gone in a few hours.

Interested to see what the Jays do in terms of strength/conditioning and medical. I think this is an area the Jays have been severely lacking in recent years. Biomechanics is an area where there is a huge advantage to be gained. The Pirates are one of the best.

Hurl had the scoop on Shapiro working on a deal with medical/biomechanics org back in August.
