Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Disgusting baseball from the Mets
King Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Barry left his beer goggles at the hotel lol rip
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 He seems like a total prick and he can't seem to lose with grace either. I thought he handled himself incredibly well when Bautista stated that he lost all respect for Yost as a person.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Goodnight guys. See you tomorrow for the Shapiro press conference. Offseason starts tomorrow!!! Going to be exciting stuff (more exciting then this crappy world series)
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Not sure why pitchers keep throwing Escobar anything to hit... The dude is not going to walk. 4% career walk rate... He should not be getting any pitches to hit. seriously? he's had quite a few hits on balls he had no right getting to METS IMPLODE
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hate this team so much.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 f*** losing with grace. Start throwing at people's heads. Bit extreme, no?
candymartinez Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Maybe so. I don't believethat though Believe the Earth is flat too? It's not even math. HFA didn't matter at all.
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The WS was ACLS. Jays lost to the champs. Took KC two post seasons to win it. The 92 jays team also had a few postseasons before they won it. Hope Shipiro adds the right pieces to win it all.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I thought he handled himself incredibly well when Bautista stated that he lost all respect for Yost as a person. But the reason Bautista said that was because he somehow defended Jim Wolf after the shenanigans that went on in that game, in which case I can't really blame Bautista. Obviously the only reason he defended the umpire was because the call was in his favour, but I thought that was just incredibly disingenuous.
flafson Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 What a gonk show by the Mets...
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Lead off guy with a JPA OBA says it all. they are like 45 games over .500 in the 175 games he's led off. Honestly as stupid as it was to put him there, it would at this point be even more stupid to move him from there.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Oh god. Joe Buck is so bad.
JPArenshitia Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 From post season beast to complete zero for Daniel Murphy lol

Jays were on of the, if not the biggest, spending team back then.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Well, Ned Yost is about to be a WS winning manager. Pretty definitive proof managers don't mean s*** with how the Royals have done the last 2 years, at least.

King Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Matt Snyder @MattSnyderCBS 2m2 minutes ago there's one child chanting "Let's Go Mets" over and over still. No one will join her.

JPArenshitia Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 time to turn this s*** off. my stomach will get queasy. the mets really really suck lol, such horrible defence over and over lol

King Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Well deserved win for the Royals!

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 No matter what, it always gives me chills watching teams celebrate a WS Championship. Congrats to the Royals.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Time to trade for Harvey......he and the Mets probably hate each other so much right now.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 eh, not as mad as i thought id be lol good for kc, seems like they always had that clutch hit or play when they needed it all playoffs
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 No matter what, it always gives me chills watching teams celebrate a WS Championship. Congrats to the Royals. Yep I think I only remember a few times where I didn't watch a celebration of a major championship. Exceptions probably being Alabama Football National Championships, and Kentucky Basketball. Cowboys football too
