Tom Verducci has been an incredible colour guy for Fox. He doesn't speak up a whole lot, but when he does it's almost always insightful - or even better, researched.

The one good thing about the broadcast, which is terrible in general.

He's like the opposite of Harold Reynolds, who just talks off the cuff, talks all of the time to fill any silent air, and seems to just be wilfully ignorant about a lot of things.

I remember Joe Buck being sort of boring but professional nonetheless. However, he's seemed largely disinterested and boring all playoffs. A lot of the time this is how he'll play-by-play call an at bat:

"strike one... here's the 0-1... ball one... here's the 1-1.... good rip on 1-1... (insert Ned Yost reference)... (no comment on ball 2)... 2-2 pitch... Moustakas! - Hosmer! ----- inning over."

so f***ing boring, Buck

Buck just wants to call football. He even admitted it on twitter or something.

It'd be better if Verducci and Ugghhh...Reynolds were there.

PED's or not Arod is in rareified air when it comes to what he has done on a ball field. Lots of knowledge.

The resurrection of Arod cred continues. A year ago who would have imagined him commentating on a WS broadcast?

He sounds 100 times more professional than Reynolds lol

Barry Davis and O2 are more popular than Reynolds on this Board.
