I feel pretty terrible for Volquez. I would go on rampage if that information was held from me. That was a truly terrible decision.

In my experience, athletes are douchebags more often than not. Let's be real here; these are the people we went to high school with, that if they weren't good enough to make the big leagues, would still be in their hometown selling insurance.

What. Herrera regularly headhunts with his 100mph fastball. Cain has been in the centre of a few brawls. and Rios was a douche when he was on the jays if I remember right.

 

Yea Rios is douche bag because he politely declined an autograph which a lot of athletes do especially when they are in in street clothes and leaving. Only to be called a bum mutiple times infront of hundreds of people. We should really be encouraging people to act this way. Its a f***ing signature.

Haha yeah. I bumped into Bobby Abreu and Pat Burrell 10 years ago, they were douches. Also bumped into AJ Burnett and Carlos Pavano a few weeks later. They were douchey as well.

 

Players that I met that were really nice: Jim Thome, Chase Utley (ironically), Jimmy Rollins, Juan Pierre, Dontrelle Willis, and Luis Castillo lol.

I remember when they installed the scoreboards in the outfield and Vernon Wells said he wouldn't go anywhere near them and would only play the ball of them. I thought that was douche bag thing to say.

Yeah they used to hang in downtown Montreal all the time. Most people didn't recognize them lol. All the latin players go to a specific latin club here also

Not to mention autograph collectors are some of the most obnoxious people on earth in general. If that's what people are using to call Rios a douche, then yeah, that's wrong. Unless he's done something actually douche worthy, then he's not on the list with guys like Ventura.

 

The Royals "douche ratio" is right in line with every other team. They'll probably end up winning the World Series, but they have enough non-douche players for me not to really care that much. I only wish the Jays were the team in the Series right now but can't do anything about that.
