Haha yeah. I bumped into Bobby Abreu and Pat Burrell 10 years ago, they were douches. Also bumped into AJ Burnett and Carlos Pavano a few weeks later. They were douchey as well.Players that I met that were really nice: Jim Thome, Chase Utley (ironically), Jimmy Rollins, Juan Pierre, Dontrelle Willis, and Luis Castillo lol.

 

I try hard not to judge players for being standoffish. Those small snippets don't really tell you much about what they are like most times.

 

Fans are on them like fat kids on smarties 24/7. Its got to wear on you even though without fans they don't make the $ they do.

 

I just appreciate it when they go out of their way to do something nice for kids etc to give them a memory. Like this year when Edwin had the whole team sign an artificial leg (which had a Jays logo on it) for a little kid from AB who flew to see them in TOR. To me, that says something about E-Rex.

I figured I'd attempt to be cool and score brownie points with the nerds by shortening my name, a la BTS/NJH/GD *not really*. It's just funny how butthurt you're getting that I'm back. No worries, I'll be banned by some mod for no reason soon anyway.

That was exactly it. That and the autograph thing. When we traded him I said Jays would regret it and he'd become a star. He had a decent career but surely didn't live up to his potential.
