I am always curious if the staff even catch half of what these people want. Their plain coffee though is just 50 cents more than Timmy's and well worth it just so you dont actually have to step into a tim hortons.

 

Its kind of funny. In rural SW Ontario, we don't have any Starbucks. If you step in to a Tim Horton's, it takes a minute or two to get a coffee. It takes 5-10 minutes now to get one in the drive-thru!

I'd like to ask because I really enjoy dark roast coffee and I've been trying to wean myself off the cream and sugar bit by bit but I hit a bit of a wall where I just enjoy it a lot less if I can't taste that hint of sweetness and I can't fully stomach the coffee flavour without cream. What do I do?!

I don't know lol.. My guess is its an acquired taste like everything else. I am not a big nut of Shell fish and i get mocked all the time because everyone seems to love it just the way the taste buds work. Or don't got to Tims or SB because the only coffee i really like from a "takeout" place is McDonalds

They say it takes two weeks to get used to it if you force yourself but the acidity in black coffee is kind of bad for you so I wouldn't bother.

I'm with ya Box (except the whole sister/orgasm thing...that was totally weird. You're on your own there). I've removed the sugar and continue to slowly remove the cream, but I too have hit the wall.
