Governator Community Moderator Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Oh, definitely. It has to happen. It's really not fair if we don't 85 the Royals. And I don't care that I wasn't alive when that happened, it can still piss me off. Very true. I was at the terrible two stage where I imagine myself annoying the s*** out of my dad while he was trying to deal with this moment himself.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 pepto bismol and ginger ale That sounds pretty gross.

Haha, and didn't you mention your kids driving you crazy during one of the games recently? Payback, of course.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 not together smh I'm an idiot, I'm sorry.
labadee Verified Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 didn't the folks at the rogers centre say that selected games could be viewed there? did that ever happen?
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Haha, and didn't you mention your kids driving you crazy during one of the games recently? Payback, of course. Yes, yes indeed haha!
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 didn't the folks at the rogers centre say that selected games could be viewed there? did that ever happen? They definitely did mention that it was being considered, but it hasn't happened.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Oh god, just the thought of our season ending tonight is making me feel sick. I mean, overall I feel good about the game, but still, that possibility of losing is obviously pretty unbearable. The collective blood pressure of the Jays fans has gone through the roof that MLB refuses to open.

nextyear Verified Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 that's scary stuff That is a very good reason for missing games. According to this link the survival rate is 85% at 26 weeks - http://www.easybabylife.com/premature-survival-rates.html . Hopefully all will be well with the baby. Is Loup in the lineup tonight? It would be understandable if he wasn't.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 that's scary stuff I'm not going to lie, I was a little curious as to what was going on, but at the same time this is really none of my damn business and it feels weird knowing when it didn't come from Loup himself. That said, it's obviously great to hear that they're doing well.

S33n Verified Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm happy things turned out well for Loup, sounds like he will be available tonight. Not sure how sharp he would be though.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 that's scary stuff now that things are good he might be available. everything has worked out so it's probably nothing that will scar him or keep him from playing, but he might be emotionally drained and not ready to go
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Gibbons said he's available. he said "he's out there" didn't sound convincing that he was available.
Yorkshire Blue Jay Verified Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Gibbons said he's available. Excellent news and pleased all are well in the Loup household, totally none of our business, we all guessed it was a serious situation and makes his absences totally understandable.

I kind of figured if he's there then he's available, otherwise he would just say he's unavailable. But who really knows, I could definitely be wrong on that assumption. Hopefully Price just goes the distance and we don't even have to worry about it tonight.

Hopefully Price just goes the distance and we don't even have to worry about it tonight. yeah, we need Price to CG win this puppy and move to tomorrow. I'm not sure you want a guy who has both traveled a lot and been through the ringer mentally the last few days, in a game you have to win. If we are up by 10 you might see Loup against a lefty just to get him a few pitches going forward, but if it's even remotely close... not gonna happen.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/loup-appreciate-fans-support-back-for-playoff-baseball/ Haha, and there we go, thank you. I've been wanting to ask, so if you don't mind, how's your dog?

nextyear Verified Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Now for the Accuweather forecast - http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/kansas-city-mo/64106/hourly-weather-forecast/329441 It looks like a nice evening for baseball in KC, at least for the first couple of hours. The weather doesn't look like it should negatively affect David Price's performance (it isn't cold) and he will probably have pitched 80 - 100 pitches before there is any chance of thundershowers. I am looking forward to the game. I am hoping for a Blue Jays win, but if not, then I hope that it will be a close, exciting game. As is always the case, an early lead will greatly improve the Blue Jays chances, especially with Price pitching.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I know how I feel. I wonder if the KC fan base is feeling much heat today without their backs to the wall...yet. Haven't checked their boards.
