You apparently misread what I wrote or just made up some words in your head. Trading for a pitcher who already was going to retire was not smart. Not getting a back up starter for Buerhle who has already retired was dumb. Keeping Hutch as starter and not getting something to help out was dumb. When you look at the pitchers on this team...Price alone was not enough to fix the major holes....just my opinion.

I agree with this analysis but it also means that this team has gone beyond its real possibilities and we should be proud of that
