BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 R.A. is an amazing interview, every f***ing time. He really is. Don't like the KB but I like the man. Its not his fault he was dealt for Noah and Travis....but he will always pay a certain price for it. 2.1 WAR for $12mm this year.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 plz just take 2/3 at home, then go into KC with Price/Stroman for a couple of must win games. All 3 at home would be optimal but I don't want to be too greedy.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 From a team that's won 3 or more games in a row 12 times? Edit: Don't respond please, I've read your posts. Thx. The chances of Jays winning 3 in a row against KC are about 1/8. Chances of them winning 3 in a row against an average team are a little higher. The Jays had 67 chances to start a 3 game winning streak and did it 12 times. That sounds about right.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8JFVSNxkEI
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 ummm I don't know. I wonder if they are just blowing smoke. If he really couldn't throw his slider, but was available to throw other pitches wouldn't they want to keep that quiet?? Just so KC still is thinking about the slider.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 [havok] Just f***ing win please. [/havok]

Fangraphs has our odds of advancing in this series as 20%. Down 2-0 to the Rangers they pegged us with a 17.5% chance of advancing I believe.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 We're gonna beat them so bad, they won't even know what hit them!

candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I don't know why I listen to the Fan590. Stupid talk really bothers me but I still listen. Somehow I still think there might be something worth listening to. The pre-game show is ridiculous. "Volquez was absolutely outstanding" "I believe they have to get to Cueto" and so on.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Volquez was outstanding, Price is a giant choker. Baseball "fans"
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Huh Cueto with KC this season has a FIP of 4 and his K/9 dropped to around 6... obviously SSS but I thought he was dominant with the Royals

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Hopefully the Stroshow has curtains up and no intermission today.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 No he's blown chunks since coming over. No idea why I thought he did well there lol On another note what's up with Osuna? I read somewhere that he's not going to throw the slider because of a finger issue?
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Baseball gods be with us. GO JAYS GO !

Even if this was the case we wouldn't say unless they are trying to sandbag.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Cecil could be good to go if we advance to the World Series! Wtf and Wow!!! Go Jays Go !!!
nextyear Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The Blue Jays chances of winning the ALCS go way up if they win tonight.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 3 nothing liberals !!! Lol

Word I glanced at my phone and saw it and I was like "why announce it" no need to publicize it now that eliminates a pitch that they're looking for
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Tabler is actually saying truth here, why are they so focused at that misplay, Price gave up 5 ER in that inning and couldn't finish the inning.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The Blue Jays chances of winning the ALCS go way up if they win tonight. To sound like as much of a dick as possible...the relative chances of winning any series go way up with any win.
Soft Hands Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Let's go Jays!!!! Just win tonight and we're back in it. Happy birthday Jose Bautista. Hopefully we get a birthday bomb from him today.
nextyear Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 To sound like as much of a dick as possible...the relative chances of winning any series go way up with any win. Thank you for that useful piece of information. I am not sure if you are calling me a dick or yourself for pointing it out, but who cares. Like everyone else, I am just pointing out the obvious while waiting for the game to start.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Haha Drew Butera plays for the Royals
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Gibby takes a lot of heat for sticking with things that don't always make sense (Sanchez when you need a K...Carerra etc). But sticking with Cola against RHP has been paying off and his D hasn't hurt us so far. Got to give him some credit for that.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
