Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I would just bump Revere to 9th right now and move everyone else up in the order. If he gets on base then he sets up the big bats. Revere should bat 7th or 8th, raping bags all the time. Bump the entire line-up up, or use Cola to hit lead-off.

This has a lot of merit if he goes wild on the bases, I agree. He obviously is going to he limited with the big bats behind him.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Ben Revere and premium velocity don't like each other
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Bautista 8th, Goins leadoff, and Pillar on the bench. The Yost. Wow. When you put it into perspective like that, it makes Yost seem like even more of an idiot.
Brans Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Cola is better against left handed pitchers. Start Smoak the lineup needs a different look to get going. Brain dead John Gibbons needs to make changes. Show that you are a good manager.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Ned Yost Book of Managing tells me Bautista should hit 8th Ned Yost Jays line up (1993) - Henderson White Alomar Carter Molitor Borders Fernandez Olerud Sprague The sad thing is the real one was almost (but not quite) as bad. Molitor and Alomar rotated through the 6th spot, Carter and White always were ahead of Olerud, but Olerud stayed at 5th all the time.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 If it went... (Henderson bumps everyone when he arrives) Alomar Olerud Molitor Carter Fernandez White Sprague Borders Carter would of driven in 150, and White 100... Gaston probably cost White and Carter money by not bumping them (but he gave them RESPECT)

Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 We made the playoffs this year. No one cares about 92/93 anymore. I heard Dave Stieb mentioned in another thread so a few still care.. The fact we made the playoffs made me care more... Looking at some of the old video is fun... maybe if you aren't old enough to actually remember it you don't care, but if you saw it you will always care.
