Cola is better against left handed pitchers. Start Smoak the lineup needs a different look to get going. Brain dead John Gibbons needs to make changes. Show that you are a good manager.

John Gibbons is an idiot. He rolls out the same struggling lineup try something different think outside the box.

I know this is the price you paid but it is still hard. David Price was the best pitcher available on the market and the price was steep. Without Price we are likely fighting for the second wild card. Price choking in the playoffs and honestly did not see I do care about previous years because he was looking like the best pitcher in the AL. I really against trading top pitching prospect for rental players because it can send a franchise back. Look at the Mets pitching staff they could go the the World Series multiple times with that young talent staff. Its hurts because I feel cheated by the way David Price is pitching. Some teams would be stupid enough to give him a ten year 200 million dollar deal. In the regular season he is the best pitcher in the AL in the post season he struggles. Maybe in the minor league he did not experience enough teaching to deal with pressure situations. Maybe he did not spend enough time in the minor leagues and was rushed to the big leagues because he was the number 1 pick. Maybe he was always the best pitcher and success always came easy for him and when things do not go his way he buckles under the pressure. Do not blame this play say the batter hits an infield single do you blame the fielder for not making the play. Price is a Cy candidate who choked this inning with just one runner on. He is not a mentally strong pitcher in the post season. It might all come together for him and he gets over the hump or it will eat at him. It is all mental.

David Choke Price. Let somebody else give him 200 million.

Too Many right handed batters

We would not have won our division without Smoak. He had so many key hits and homers for us. He is our only left handed bat with power. He also plays great defense. Texas was a bad match up because most of their starters are left handed. At the bottom of the lineup I will take that.

Against left handed pitching

Justin Smoak is a player who needs AB for him to get his timing. Certain players are better suited to starting then coming off the bench. Cola is better suited for coming of the bench PH or starting against lefties. Cola in his career is not great against right handed hitters. One of my biggest concerns about this team is we have too many right hitters with Cola in the started lineup we have seven right handed hitters. That makes in easier for hand handed pitchers.

This should be our lineup Revere Donaldson Bautista Encarnacion Martin Smoak Tulowitzki Pillar Goins Nice Balance in the lineup. Cola is a bench player who is excellent against lefties don't make him out to be someone has is not.

It has happened far too often. Right handed pitchers can get comfortable and get in a zone. We only have three left handed hitters and and the rest right handers. Yes Colaing has a hit but he is much weaker against right hand pitching. Switch it up.

We need to play some of our left handed batters. I am sick of watching average right hand pitchers look like cy young against us. Switch in up put in Smoak and bring in Martin.

Texas mainly has left handed pitchers. Cola is excellent against left handed pitchers. It is not wise to have so many right handed batters against right handed pitching. Justin Smoak is fine batting lower in the lineup. He has come through for us with big hits and he has hit 18 homeruns.
