Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 I can't believe MLB will allow that play to decide a playoff game
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 So does an umpire's time out call make no difference on the play? It should imo...not necessarily with the rules though. Probably why Gibby did the protest
Rafters Verified Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 so what happens if the game is under protest? Really ....nothing will happen
youngtea Verified Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 so what happens if the game is under protest? They kept on playing. So I guess nothing.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Puck hits a glove on the bench, ref blows the whistle, player keeps skating and puts the puck in the net, ref says no goal. Then says OK it's a goal.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Nice...how are you tonight? Someone beat me to the ban.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Bwahahaahahahahahhaaa! You Jays fans are bigger crybabies than your players.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Bringing out Hamels after that delay is probably a really bad decision
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I can't believe MLB will allow that play to decide a playoff game What can they do. Dems da rulez.

Atlas Verified Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Ok, let their screw up for a change lead to a run for us...or two....or FIVE!!!!!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 so what happens if the game is under protest? It means that if the Jays lose, and the protest is ruled in the Jays favor they have to replay the game from the point just below the wrong call. But the protest won't go in the Jays favor since the call is right. If the Jays win the protest doesn't even happen
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 So does an umpire's time out call make no difference on the play? All time outs on plays that are reversed become a judgement call. I'll post the wording of the rule in a minute.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Patience Kevin... you were all over that?
Soft Hands Verified Member Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 come on boys we got this s***
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 What can they do. Dems da rulez. The rules also say if an umpire calls a play dead. No runners can move up.
