IBTrini Verified Member Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 In all the drama Gibby's move to pinch run Pompey and take Martin out of the game (never easy) was big. Martin may not have had the speed to get home in time to take out the catcher before he doubled off Revere with the bases loaded. That would have been a huge buzz kill. The magnitude of that play was not fully accredited at the time however it did play a big part in the lead-up to the game changing moment. The young pitchers also played an integral part in this victory - The successful outcome of this game was quite the team effort, it was truly amazing.

Cookie Verified Member Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 funny that #minibautista is trending right now Cute kid. love his beard. I thought #minibautista was going to be kids doing bat flips with windshield brushes. Maybe that was just my house this morning. haha. Get in the van! We can all pretend to be Jose after school!
37stieb Verified Member Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 RA said that Osuna is kind of like his daughter? uh.... explain please? That's easy. The beer stopped flowing and Jack Daniels made a appearance.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Dickey doesn't have a son only daughters. I think he's just trying to say he feels like Osuna's dad. ok... that makes more sense.... usually one might say that he feels like a son to me when it's about a male.... but saying he feels like one of my daughters isn't completely irrational. lol just sounded really weird.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 It was memorable for sure. It wasn't a bat flip, Bautista just threw it to the side. What made it magical was the power buried deep within the bat which took on a life of its own and decided, of its own accord, that the moment really merited a bat flip. That bat can be auctioned as well! FWIW most fans on the Rangers MB seem to think Bautista's emotion was understandable and think that Dyson is a whiner: http://www.forums.mlb.com/discussions/Texas_Rangers/General/Bat_flip_controversy/ml-rangers/27998.1?nav=messages

Idiot tweets with inferences about the Muslim hordes threat, and then this calling out Jose. He was a very good pitcher who should shut his pie hole.

He was a very good pitcher who should shut his pie hole. Wow, impressed that a lot of Rangers fans aren't buying what Dyson is selling. Maybe having Prince on their team makes them less inclined to be hypocrites on this issue but I don't think you would get this king of reaction from say, the Orioles board, under similar circumstances.
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 That's because the average age of that Orioles board is probably about 72.

Its stupid for fans to get personal. We should be more like them guys. They are still a bunch of hypocrites. Good thing our team is filled with the cheaters (Davis), dirt bags (Everth Cabrera) and douches (O'Day) that they don't have.
