I fully expect this to be a thread in 2016.

Guy was elite this year and has basically been relegated to mop up duty for this team. There's a very real argument to be made that he should be our closer, yet he rots away in the BP because of Aaron Sanchez.

Bringing in Sanchez with a runner on 2nd in the 7th was dumb. Why bring in a ground ball pitcher so a weak grounder squeaks through for a run when you have guys like Hendricks wasting away in the pen?

BC Sanchez is a Gibby guy

Yup. Same issue I had when Andrelton Simmons walked off the Jays with Sanchez on the mound.

To be fair, it's only ban worthy because it's actually realistic. Sad, but true.

Yeah but I had a f***ing heart attack.

Ban for believing a trade happened in the middle of October.

To be fair, that was the reaction I was going for. Too many emotions. Appropriate move by the mods.

I literally hate you. Log into smack talk so I can yell at you.

Gibbons's BP usage has been bad all year, at least he's consistent. Using Lowe yesterday down by 3 while using Sanchez today down by 1 is just another example of his consistency.

It sounds like you're saying Gibbons earns points for being consistently bad over erratically bad

Thread title is ban worthy

Thread was originally titles: Why Homefield Wont Matter for Blue Jays.

Some mod thought it was their spot to step in.

No, a thread was merged into this one titled "Liam Hendriks traded to Dodgers for PTBNL."

Heres the first post, Liam thread was reactionary...

People say Jays cant win on the road, and all this pandamonium about homefield.

Heres the deal...

40-39 on road this season

19-28 on road first half

21-11 on road post ASB, including 2 punts in Bal.

6-2-2 series record post ASB, with TB still to go.

Jays on road post ASB vs::

NYY 6-1

LAA 3-0

TEX 2-1

Not really worried about any road games in post season. Jays starters are deeper, bullpen deeper, lineup best in game, bench is rock solid.

The original thread moved here was the Russell Martin's playoff record thread. I knew there would be a bunch of bad threads started so I intended to dump it into one. As the threads get merged they re-order by date. Someone moved the home advantage thread here recently.

Just tossing this out there, but seems to me that KC has this uncanny ability to come back from large deficits in one inning as a example with The Astros. I also thought I heard a Faux broadcaster say they (KC) were the best team in come back victories. So I wonder if they have a good system in place to steal other teams signs? Or just winning the the lottery ticket odds in hit successive hitting?

This kind of post, from a Toronto Blue Jays fan who is probably sick of the man in white ******** himself, is simply astonishing.
