Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Price's last start wasn't too shiny either, right? What was it, 7 runs against vs. Tampa?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 http://www.jamestownsoftball.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mora.jpg I just want to win a game.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 That sucks because the Jays are not that good on the road. We are good in Texas. We beat them 2/3 there in a recent series, when the yankees were breathing down our necks. Too many f***ing days off,and you can lose your edge,so they gotta find a way to get that back, and play with that edge again.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 We will recover from this
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 And here I thought you were asking an honest question only you then laugh at the answers. Typical of you. Huh? It was an honest question. I would have been happy if someone actually had legit evidence one way or another. "We just witnessed what happens on long rest" is stupid though.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Except they have to face hamels. They should have crushed yovani but didnt . winning 3/4 is tough. This, we're in significant trouble. Even more so if Donaldson and Bautista aren't playing at 100% (relatively) health for tomorrow.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Price's last start wasn't too shiny either, right? What was it, 7 runs against vs. Tampa? Yeah but he was damn good down the stretch
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Price's last start wasn't too shiny either, right? What was it, 7 runs against vs. Tampa? I think it was 4ER, but yeah it wasn't great.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 We are good in Texas. We beat them 2/3 there in a recent series, when the yankees were breathing down our necks. Yup. We are actually 8-2 playing in Texas for the past three years, and we didn't exactly play well in the last two, so that's something to be confident about.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Rangers were damn lucky EE just missed one. There were so many lined grounders right to them with men on. Tulo missed one too
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 We've dominated Hamels in the past. And it's basically nothing but lefties for Games 2, 3 and maybe 4. Just win tomorrow.. or we're in trouble for Game 3.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Jays have been on curise control since clinching the division They had multiple chances to get HFA overall but failed. Price is 0-6 in the playoffs that cant be bad luck, more like a player who chokes under pressure. Anyways i think we will see a better game from the Jays tomorrow best of 5 series dont leave much room for error, if they dont win tomorrow its over. This is not hockey. Please no more hockey narratives.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 OMG the sky is falling! #chokeTOgether

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 it would be cool if the real Tulo could show up for the playoffs.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Yeah. People are acting like he's been sitting on his couch eating doritos for two weeks. I like sitting on my couch eating Doritos?
Followthelight Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Number 8 and 9 hitters killed the Jays.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Tough loss but nothing to be done about that. I'm hoping Donaldson and Bautista are good to go tomorrow against Hamels, need those two bats.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 it would be cool if the real Tulo could show up for the playoffs. He made good contact in 2 at bats.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 So, what are some examples of teams in the LDS who lost the first game but came back to win series? Anyone know off hand?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 it would be cool if the real Tulo could show up for the playoffs. It would be better if he was fully healthy.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 f*** mlb....Jays not on TV tomorrow, but instead on mlb network
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 We had no business winning this game. Gallardo dominated us again. And Price needs to improve in the postseason..
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I like sitting on my couch eating Doritos? Who doesn't? I'm doing it right now in fact.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 f*** mlb....Jays not on TV tomorrow, but instead on mlb network MLB Network is a tv channel...
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 f*** mlb....Jays not on TV tomorrow, but instead on mlb network Seriously, the game isn't even televised?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 f*** mlb....Jays not on TV tomorrow, but instead on mlb network In the US. Game's on Sportsnet here.

We are actually 8-2 playing in Texas for the past three years, and we didn't exactly play well in the last two, so that's something to be confident about. Plus, our road record overall really climbed in the second half of the season after the trade deadline. This homefield advantage thing is only in peoples heads-imo.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Who doesn't? I'm doing it right now in fact. This is really no time to eat Doritos.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
