Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Getting shut out at home in the wild card game is kinda embarrassing
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Apparently Rangers fans and players are thrilled to be playing the Blue Jays. They own David Price. Never heard of Marcus Stroman and Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion struggle in Arlington. Well that's just retarded.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Damn, I have to say that I did not expect Yanks to go out this meekly. That late season form really carried over big time it seems. Kudos to Astros for just pitching extremely well overall, I don't think a Yankees runner reached third tonight? Them and Royals should be a very interesting matchup.
Professional Hitter Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 So much for that Yankee mystique
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 The Yankees lose! Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees lose!
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Yankees brought nothing in their own park. That club is going to have issues next year... Meh, they'll probably be better next year. Full seasons from Bird, Severino, Judge, maybe Refsnyder. 10M in wasted money off the books in Drew and Capuano.
Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Whats the crowd chanting?

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Guess the old age of the Yankees really did them over. They started hot in the season but faded.

I think they need at least another year to cycle the old guys out.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Hopefully Kazmir, McHugh, and Fiers come up big for Houston. Only one Keuchel start next series and KC gets two from Cueto.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Yankees just quit once they lost the division. I don't think they quit. They just stopped playing above their heads. They were never supposed to play as well as they did.

art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 So Keuchel just said that he felt better on 3 day rest than long rest... I sure hope it's only him Price and Stro better sharp or else Gibby is going to hear it....
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/6479266/v415014683/tor-tex-encarnacion-slugs-grand-slam-to-blow-it-open They were talking about how our big three hits under .200 in Arlington. So they feel pretty confident they can neutralize those bats. Talked about how Masterful Gallardo is against the Blue Jays.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 By the way... I also find it dumn to "celebrate" and pop champagne just for the fact that your team is making it to the WC game. The celebration should be held IF you win that game!

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 too bad.. I was pulling for the Yankees to limp their way through.
Cookie Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Think ARod will be back next year?

Given all this talk about how Gallardo "stymies" the Blue Jays, I hope they rip him to shreds on Thursday.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Did they just say the game starts at 2 on thursday?
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Think ARod will be back next year? Yankees would have to eat a fair bit of salary to move him. I think they'll just ride it out two more years.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Given all this talk about how Gallardo "stymies" the Blue Jays, I hope they rip him to shreds on Thursday. Gallardo is awful. I'm not expecting him to get to the 5th inning on Thursday.
