Laika Community Moderator Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Just turned 24 and has just discovered new mechanics. Mid to upper 90's with a few decent secondaries while being a LHP will bode well moving forward. He also has size ( 6'3 220 ). He could work up through the system quickly if his control is maintained, which so far has been great. Sometimes ball players just bloom later. Yeah Girodo started 2015 as a geezer in the FSL and the org eventually shot him all the way to AAA / the AFL last year. Speaking of old relief prospects, Danny Barnes has to at least be as good as Ryan Tepera...

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Kind of scared for Alford. He's gone full Russel Martin with the bat striking out in more than half his PA! Have to think he's still hurt which is scary considering it sounds like he tore or at least partially tore a ligament in the knee.

Nafro Verified Member Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Old news brah. So you're saying I'm not way ahead of the game...I'm way behind... Geez, maybe I've been smoking weed.

King Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Is there odds anywhere of his shoulder blowing apart during a swing? So far so good. RBI single in his first at bat.
