Otto Lopez batting in front of Groshans and having a great game.

2/3 base hits, a walk, two stolen bases and a run.

Dude, you're on a Blue Jays board. I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread musing over the brand and ply of toilet paper the Jays use in the locker room.

cause we all know it's Charmin

Dunedin Jays with 16 Ks in the game, Guerrero (1 K) and Warmoth (none) the only ones in the lineup with Ks < 2. Pretty good impression of the big league club.

From BP

Josh Winckowski, RHP, Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays Low-A)

The Jays spent $125,000 on Winckowski in the 15th round of the 2016 draft, and he made his full-season debut after showing well in the Northwest League last summer. Already a big guy at a listed 6-foot-4 and 202 pounds, there is projection left in the frame. That added growth should help the fastball tick up in the future, as it currently sits 91-93. Winckowski struggled in the cold rain to command his slider (87-89), but had good feel for a change that he used to generate awkward swings. The changeup has the look of a solid secondary with moderate velocity separation (84-86) and late fade. He mixed in a few inconsistent curveballs in this outing, with a handful flashing 12-6 shape and a little movement. There are some pieces here, and Winckowski is an intriguing arm. I look forward to seeing the secondaries in a more favorable pitching climate. – Nathan Graham

I think he was Vancouver’s closer.

His first start was excellent but not sure if it’s a one time thing out of necessity or they’ll continue letting him start.

Game 2 Nate Pearson, pure filth.

1st inning: 1-2 count 100mph strikeout, 3-2 count 6 pitch popout to second, 2-2 count 101mph strikeout

So you're saying he has thrown 6 balls? Bust.

He was down 3-0 count, then went 98 down the middle, another fastball fouled off, then popout to Vicuna

2nd inning Lewin Diaz almost took him deep but Demi Orimoloye caught it at the RF wall.

Still scoreless

Vancouver Canadians Call of Duty legend Joey Pulido pitching for Lansing tonight, and not well. Probably has a career in MLG waiting for him.

Proposition: Alejandro Kirk's nickname should be "El Capitan"

Monster night, 2 for 3, home run, 2 walks

How many infielders have to pass Warmoth on the depth chart before they cut bait? i know it's too early now but this guy is already 23 and between last year and the SSS of this year hasn't been able to hit A+ pitching at all. Time to work some magic Atkins and flip him into something useful like you did with Woodman.

His peripherals aren't that bad and he's managed to stay at SS. There still might be potential if he could make better contact.

I haven’t written him off completely but there’s no way he should be batting 3rd today or 2nd yesterday infront of Vlad jr., Warmoth hasn’t hit at all since arriving in Dunedin a year ago.

I rather give more plate appearances to Cullen Large, Riley Adams, Chavez Young, Ryan Noda, or even Demi Orimoloye.

As long as there's somewhere for him to play and he's not taking ABs away from a more worthy prospect, I really don't care if they keep him somewhere.
