Would be happy with @9 fWAR

 

Soto has 2.6 WAR in roughly half a 1st season, and Vlad is every bit as good as Soto at the plate, but with more power

 

Realistic WAR numbers for Vlad are 4, 5, 6 WAR in his first 3 seasons = 15

In his first 3 full years what do you guys think a conservative projection would be for Vlad in terms of WAR.

 

Somewhere between 6 and 9 fWAR, depending on how bad his defense is. He could certainly end up blowing it out of the water though, and no one would be surprised.

There’s no way they call him up until April 20th of next year. That extra year is too valuable.

Jansen callup makes zero sense unless hes coming up to catch everyday so probably.

I doubt it, he'll play in the Post-Season for the Fisher Cats... play likely in Arizona. If they call him up, it's just dumb.

I'm really impressed with Smith. Florida State League is historically a very difficult league to hit in... And he's doing very well there.
