John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Thank you. Looks like you are right. Do you think the jays will sign more. Last two years signed about 90 players Could be more. 90 per cent of this years dsl team are 2017 signings. Can you name the most recent prospect to start his career in the DSL for the Jays and make it to the majors?

They just haven't been announced. I do think they've spent the vast majority of their cap space though.

Todd Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 That would be Richard Urena, Miguel Castro and Carlos Ramirez.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 That would be Richard Urena, Miguel Castro and Carlos Ramirez. Well that's depressing.

baubau Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Did you just list his W-L record? Look, all I am saying is with 14 wins Porcello has been critical to the Red Sox success this year. Not that MOookie Bets guy or other dudes. I mean, he is clearly their ace. Should be a strong candidate for Cy.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2018 Author Posted August 8, 2018 Are you an idiot or just a troll? Chris Sale has been 225% better than Rick Porcello. If he was so good he'd be the one with 14 wins.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Are you an idiot or just a troll? Chris Sale has been 225% better than Rick Porcello. It's strong sarcasm, baubau is a cool dude.

Martinez is where it's really at, now that guy is a run producer!

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2018 Author Posted August 8, 2018 BA ranks the BlueJays as having the 3rd best system in baseball.
Ray Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 BA ranks the BlueJays as having the 3rd best system in baseball. Even without Vlad, the depth in our system is tremendous. There's good prospects to follow at basically all levels of the farm. You can look at any prospect in our Top 30 and can make a case for them to be interesting.
wamco Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 next year and vlad, Jansen and borucki are no longer qualified as prospects. Pound the table for your 3 players to join the top 30 list. (Going off mlb.com top 30 list)

tercet Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Another post why SRF isn't ready. A clip of his strikeouts last night showing his poor command/control. This stuff works in the minors, but not in the majors.

Todd Verified Member Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Vlad in all likely hood will not start the season with the jays next year. And how do you figure he does not qualified as a prospect. Have you lost your mine. If anything he might do with him what they did with carlos delgado. up and down to start.

Highly doubt they're gonna yo-yo a top prospect like him between AAA and the majors.
