What # did you go with? Is he going to wear 27 at the ML level for his Dad?

I went with 27, that's what he's been wearing in the minors, and I don't really see DSJ objecting to giving the number up...

In my opinion the blue jays farm system is deeper now then what it was when AA was here. The only weakest i see

is at first base and maybe still in the outfield. But from what i have seen from Spanberger that could change.

And in the outfield they still have a lot of up and coming prospects to watch for.

Like Tanner Kirwer, Mc Gregory Contreras, Rodrigo Orozco, Chavez young and Dominic Abbadessa. And Ryan Noda.

But he was drafted as a first basemen.

First 20/20 prospect since 2000? That's kind of sad, actually.

Technically Brett Lawrie 2011 also did it with 18/13 in Vegas and then 9/7 in Toronto. But yeah sad

Bo will probably be a 20/20 guy assuming he spends most of next year in the minors. Its a nice accomplishment for Smith individually though. Reports suggest hes all played a pretty good SS and should be able to play 3B, SS, and 2B all atleast average at the next level.

That was only 7 years ago? Feels like longer that Lawrie was in the organization.

Hes really aggressive on bases apparently. But hes actually been said to be a pretty good base runner despite his overall lack of speed.

Thought there would be a bigger crowd there... Didn't realize he was so Jose Reyes like every time he gets a regular hit...

Waguespack has 9 K's through 3.2 IP

Well that's a great way to endear yourself to a new organisation. K's make us hard.

I’m at the game now he’s meh, pretty much every strikeout is on his slider/curveball, his fb is 89-94. He made Althier and goins look like fools on his breaking ball.

LMAO:D At least he got and RBI on that hit and a triple which is probably rare for him. :)

Is that Danny Espinosa who was with us earlier this year for a cup of coffee?

Striking out Goins doesn't count so I'm taking that one away. Well he might be meh as a starter but if hes getting that much swing and miss on his breaking ball he might have a nice reliever profile with his fastball velocity playing up.

He's out if the fielder keeps the tag on him.

Noda with two bombs last night. What's a best-case-scenario for him? Youkilis? His plate awareness seems amazing.

I want to say Carlos Santana with the bat.

I didn't realize that Noda was maybe a viable outfielder. He actually has 3 starts in CF this year!
