Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Fisher Cats with 10 runs through 4 innings so far today... Biggio 2 HR, Bo 2 doubles, Forrest Wall 3-3 with a double. great
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 What # did you go with? Is he going to wear 27 at the ML level for his Dad? I went with 27, that's what he's been wearing in the minors, and I don't really see DSJ objecting to giving the number up...
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Bichette: 3-4, 2 2B Biggio: 3-5, 2 HR, 2B Wall: 3-4, 2B, BB, K Espinal: 2-4, BB (hitting .310 in AA so far)
Todd Verified Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 In my opinion the blue jays farm system is deeper now then what it was when AA was here. The only weakest i see is at first base and maybe still in the outfield. But from what i have seen from Spanberger that could change. And in the outfield they still have a lot of up and coming prospects to watch for. Like Tanner Kirwer, Mc Gregory Contreras, Rodrigo Orozco, Chavez young and Dominic Abbadessa. And Ryan Noda. But he was drafted as a first basemen.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 First 20/20 prospect since 2000? That's kind of sad, actually.
43211234 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Smith is now 35/38 in stolen base attempts for his career.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 First 20/20 prospect since 2000? That's kind of sad, actually. Technically Brett Lawrie 2011 also did it with 18/13 in Vegas and then 9/7 in Toronto. But yeah sad
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Bo will probably be a 20/20 guy assuming he spends most of next year in the minors. Its a nice accomplishment for Smith individually though. Reports suggest hes all played a pretty good SS and should be able to play 3B, SS, and 2B all atleast average at the next level.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Hes really aggressive on bases apparently. But hes actually been said to be a pretty good base runner despite his overall lack of speed.

Didn't realize he was so Jose Reyes like every time he gets a regular hit...

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Waguespack has 9 K's through 3.2 IP

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Waguespack has 9 K's through 3.2 IP Well that's a great way to endear yourself to a new organisation. K's make us hard.
tercet Verified Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Well that's a great way to endear yourself to a new organisation. K's make us hard. I’m at the game now he’s meh, pretty much every strikeout is on his slider/curveball, his fb is 89-94. He made Althier and goins look like fools on his breaking ball.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Noda with two bombs last night. What's a best-case-scenario for him? Youkilis? His plate awareness seems amazing.

He made Althier and goins look like fools on his breaking ball. Striking out Goins doesn't count so I'm taking that one away. Well he might be meh as a starter but if hes getting that much swing and miss on his breaking ball he might have a nice reliever profile with his fastball velocity playing up.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Vladdy is up and MiLB gameday says Injury delay. Any idea whats going on?
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I mean it is 1pm in the middle of the work week and its still Buffalo lol. But I guess you missed this... He's out if the fielder keeps the tag on him.
tercet Verified Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 He hit the catcher with his swing, the catcher is out of the game.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Nevermind, he's ok. Another walk for Vladdy.

I want to say Carlos Santana with the bat. I didn't realize that Noda was maybe a viable outfielder. He actually has 3 starts in CF this year!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 He hit the catcher with his swing, the catcher is out of the game. How comfortable does Vladdy look in the field?
