I had plans to go to Houston if both the Astros/Blue Jays made it to the ALCS. Have a friend who works at a Hilton down there and got me her staff rates at $30 per night. Still could happen, but need to take it one game at a time.

Anyone going down have a blast and cheer loud for the Jays! Just a heads up, the Dallas - Fort Worth area is a bore so don't expect much nightlife. 6 flags is right across from the stadium which could be fun, check out the JFK stuff downtown Dallas if you're into history, other than that if you have time time spare head south to Austin and have a blast.

Flight was 230 bucks but I'm coming from Denver. Coming from TO it'd be a lot more. Hotel prices are going up, Red River Rivalry is this weekend and the Cowboys play the Patriots at home. 100 for a shithole and 180 for something decent although that may continue to climb.

Tickets to the game aren't bad. 60 bucks to get in and 200 for something decent.

Flights from Detroit aren't that expensive into Dallas from when I was checking last week. $280-$350 gets you a RT. It was like $600 out of Toronto, I hate Pearson.

I have family in the Dallas area and I usually fly out of Buffalo, I have done it for $220 Canadian round trip a few times, Detroit is always cheap too.

Nobody believes anything you say anymore. Won't you be partying in Las Vegas at the encore beach club?

No I am back in Toronto, went to games 1 and 2. Next time I will be in Vegas won't be until New Years so when that time comes around I'll pour some liquor out just for your bitter Alberta ass from the top of Ghost Bar.

Yeah Buffalo is a cheap option as well. I think there were just more nonstop flights from Detroit to Dallas, mostly through Delta since Detroit is one of their main hubs. I'd have to check flight to Houston, though I'm assuming they'd have to be around the same price point. I'd only fly out of Buffalo or Detroit if its half the price of Pearson. If it's like only $100 cheaper, I'd rather avoid the hassle of driving down to Buffalo or Detroit. Plus the money for gas both ways, probably just easier to fly out of Toronto.

Yeah exactly, Detroit has more direct flights than Buffalo, however Buffalo has a big Southwest section of the airport now and you can get to some destinations via them direct but nothing out to Texas or California direct yet so Detroit is the best bet if you don't like connecting in Chicago. If the Jays face Houston you should go for sure, cool ballpark and cheap beer from what I remember when I went last year.

Is WestTexasForever the guy who said "Keep your kids away from the games" and how people in the 905 should pay "extra tolls on Toronto highways?" lol

I get all these new posters confused to be honest. Funny all those new posters who were fapping each other in the playoff ticket thread haven't posted anything in the other baseball related threads over the last couple of days.

Yeah that was me, I haven't posted in the last few days because I was at the games and it sucked to go down 0-2, thankfully I saw hardly any children at the game it was great.

To be honest, I found there to be f***ing more annoying adults than children at the past two games. Lots of Blue Jays fans are classless pieces of s***. In 113A on Thursday, one idiot was dropping F-Bombs like every 5 minutes and making homophobic remarks as well. It was disgusting. He even told a woman behind him to "F-off and watch the game." Even on Friday, I was standing in the 100 level around 125 behind the accessible seating section and had a front spot along the rope. One of the idiots beside me who was with a group of friends went to the edge of the viewing platform in extra innings to record a Jose Bautista or Josh Donaldson at-bat with his phone, blocking the view of me and others standing there. We were telling him to move and get out of the way, and the guy comes back and say's "What the f*** is your problem?" and starts swearing and acting all tough. What a piece of s***. I've never seen fans so hostile before, and and I've gone in a Jays uniform to places like Fenway and Yankee Stadium. Trust me, some adults are far worse than children.

Yeah you're right, I was with my buddy and we sat beside 2 different groups of guys our age that were into the game and fun to be around but a bunch of people around us were hammered and swearing and throwing rally towels and s***. Don't get me wrong, I love to have beers with my friends but I refuse to get s*** faced in public and yell like an idiot, plus I wanted to remember the whole experience and didn't want alcohol to fog any memories. That sucks that some dude was filming an at bat with his phone for his Instagram followers, hopefully they get to game 5 and the crowd sees a win and all will be well in the Jays universe.

At least in 89 until about 91, maybe even 92 the tickets were scooped up by so many corporate types that only the 500 level was bad for this. It was frustrating to not be able to get as many tickets as I did in the past (I took in about 20 games a year in Exhibition stadium) but it was only fans without baseball knowledge that was frustrating...the real idiots didn't show up until late 92.

That's too bad. Most people around me were solid this last couple games except one guy losing it at Beltre to "get off the field" when he was hurt. Classless.

And one guy behind me yelling a couple times for our hurler to "put one right at his head" for stepping out. Lots of F bombs all around which isn't great with kids around.

Other than that was good, and all the kids around us were having a good time and being well behaved.

Well,...I'm off to Arlington.. time to right this ship... got a few other jays fans on my flight going to the game as well.. also, about half the broadcast/production team (20 people) are on this plane, getting to the game tonight... Here's hoping for a great game (win) for the good guys!

Well that was fun. For those that went what did you think?

To all of you that went, I could hear you on TV all game long. In game 4 especially, Jays fans drowned out Rangers fans on many occasions.

Well done!

Seems sort of rude to chant Barry Davis sucks in front of him...
