dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Agree about HFA but it's not about HFA, it's about facing the WC winner and not facing their ace in game 1 Both Houston and NY have good starters after their aces who can beat you. I would much rather face texas who has one ace but not much else after.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 They still haven't named tomorrow's starter. Its Stroman's day but I think bringing him out of the pen after Buehrle could be an option.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 In NY with all their LHH and that ridiculous short RF chip shot.....not liking that match up. Yeah, I'd actually arrange it so that he pitches at home instead of in NY. Not that Skydome isn't any less HR happy in general, but at least we don't have to deal with that ridiculously short porch. Same with Dickey to a lesser extent.

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Estrada's HR-H ration must be ne of the highest in the league... it's as if the only hits he gives up are dingers, somehow. Estrada; I don't always give up hits, but when I do they're homeruns. lol
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Good call Gibby with the hook. Good job by Estrada, but his HR proneness will continue to make me very nervous come playoff time... HRS allowed T18 - Tanaka 25 T18 - Dickey 25 T23 - Estrada 24

It's the short porch and the ridiculous carry ... at least in the last series...
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Also, for all the complaining about the short porch in Yankee Stadium, the Crawford boxes in Houston might actually be worse.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I'm listening to the Ray's feed and their reporter down on the field just said that it's Hutch Awesome. He has been lights out on the road all season.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Alright, Tragic Bronson into the game for the Rays. Let's hammer him.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I'm listening to the Ray's feed and their reporter down on the field just said that it's Hutch Seriously. Buehrle gonna get f***ed like that.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do you guys prefer the camera angle over the mound like this or slightly to the right like at Rogers Centre?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hutch starting tomorrow. Well hopefully the Royals lose.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Seriously. Buehrle gonna get f***ed like that. We want HFA...we cant be messing around with any 200 IP milestones and that's why we are going with our best......Hutch.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Both Houston and NY have good starters after their aces who can beat you. I would much rather face texas who has one ace but not much else after. Texas has Gallardo, who spit roasts us every time we face him.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hutch starting tomorrow. Well hopefully the Royals lose. Ugh
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do you guys prefer the camera angle over the mound like this or slightly to the right like at Rogers Centre? Rogers Center fosho
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Those noise makers are bloody annoying.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Do you guys prefer the camera angle over the mound like this or slightly to the right like at Rogers Centre? Personally prefer the RC one, but anything's better than that old Yankees stadium one in the 80's-early 90's where it was panned to the left for some reason...
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Awesome. He has been lights out on the road all season. You're killing me here. lol
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Gibby said the other day Navarro is "one of our best hitters". I just don't get that. For a mediocre Defensive C he does ok I suppose.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Texas has Gallardo, who spit roasts us every time we face him. That's why I want Houston to win the division.

I would think our best would be Dickey. Bring him back on 3 day rest - his PC on Wed was like 50 something....
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Texas has Gallardo, who spit roasts us every time we face him. I watched those games, the jays' hits were just finding gloves, it was not like he was striking a ton of guys out and dominating.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 That ump looks like he has a wackload of chew
