HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 3:00? WTF that's a silly time Better than 1:00. Imagine the shitshow when the game finishes at rush hour?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 3:00? WTF that's a silly time Please don't be 3pm. I land @ 1:30 and don't want to scramble.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Please don't be 3pm. I land @ 1:30 and don't want to scramble. Same! Well, 2:00 at Billy Bishop. Would much prefer 4:00 obv
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 This is what the ushers were told. Start time will 1, 4 or 8 We find out approx 48 hours before. Should be just after the AL WC game

Should be just after the AL WC game They wouldn't do 1:00 if there are only 2 games would they? Hmmm, they COULD I suppose but on Thursday there are only 2 games so it would seem silly and bad for TV ratings. Friday they might use 3 times, since there are 4 games, with 2 games in prime time But I'll be pretty pissed if they decide to put the Jays-Rangers at 1:00 on Thursday

Hmmm, they COULD I suppose I somehow doubt it with Texas being an hour behind too...but you never know with Fox. Trump might be getting a haircut that night and they have to cover it.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Hey look at that, ticket prices are rapidly falling, I've seen 80$ seats on stubhub for sale. Never thought that would happen /sarcasm.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yeah I've been in Stubhub hourly. Some nice price drops. They get snatched up quickly when they drop to 100 or less The 5000 or so remaing tickets per game that are still way overpriced are not selling
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Someone posted section 113 seats at 160 bucks each. wtf man. guess I'm going to the game :/
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Someone posted section 113 seats at 160 bucks each. wtf man. guess I'm going to the game :/ Doesn't it suck when you so badly gauge the market?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I think any rational poster predicted that ticket prices wouldn't stay that high. It was ridiculous how some new posters who came on here saying tickets were going to go higher. Most of the 500 level tickets are in the low $100's right now, and I'm sure once the time is announced and if its in the afternoon, you'll be able to get into the building for $90-100. Also, I'm sure most 100 level seats will drop as well. For those people who panicked and bought 500 level seats for close to $200, huge mistake. There are so many tickets still available.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Someone bought my game 2 seats in section 505 with no view of the jumbotron for $175 US each They shouldn't have...

Props for getting rid of them at that price! Last week was the time to sell. Doubt people get those types of prices anymore!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Props for getting rid of them at that price! Last week was the time to sell. Doubt people get those types of prices anymore! Yep, that's when I sold them Nice profit which I pocketed, and have patiently waited to buy tickets for game 1
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 There are over 6000 tickets for game 2 Those prices will drop even more than for game 1 I'd suspect

Im not a new fan or new poster. But Im from Cal so I think I panicked and paid too much. The guy going with me is from Whitehorse, Yukon. Requires planning to do this trip A bud of mine is very senior @ Cdn Tire in TOR and they scrambled to buy a box after having not bought tickets in forever. I saw that and thought the corp money was going to push everything up. oh well. At least I'm going to the first two games and after 22 years of waiting im ok with it. Laika Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Geez, if tickets are dropping under $100 I might actually be able to justify going to this Thursday game.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Lol must really suck to go to the first blue jays postseason game in 22 years! Be happy you are going! I'm too nervous to attend post season games. I'm going to be an emotional wreck.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 This will be my first ever post season experience of any sport (OHL not included).

Laika Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yankees tickets for the Wild Card game start at $52. Crazy! That less than cade value for the cheapest Jays playoff tickets. WTF happened to the market for baseball tickets in New York?
