If they're moving Revere up from the 9th spot, why is Pillar still batting ahead of him? It doesn't even make sense from a platoon point of view because Pillar is bunched in with the other five righties and then you get three consecutive lefties with Revere, Goins and Thole.

Makes no sense... I'd also rather have Revere ahead of him because then everyone below is basically a slap/singles hitter... makes his ability to steal bases more useful.

If Thole were demoted tomorrow, could he still come back when rosters expand on September 1 and thus be around for the next Dickety start? Would that be a way to work around the usual restrictions? I would totally do that if it were permitted.
