Dude, you're watching the game right? Mitchell has some electric stuff, they're chasing because it looks good, these are professional hitters at work, if they knew the pitch was going to end up in the dirt they wouldn't swing.

Are you watching the same game? Some of these hitters are raw. No plan or plate discipline.

Guys, the Indians are first in baseball in O-Swing%. That means that out of all the teams they swing at pitches outside the strikezone the least. They are also 4th in O-Contact%, which means that usually when they swing at outside pitches they tend to hit them better than other teams. The Yankees' relievers have been very good.

The only hitter who legitimately looks lost to me is Zach Walters. Guys like Brantley, Santana, Gomes, Lindor etc. have been battling it out all game since I started watching.

Hey guys, wanna hear a joke? Indians were picked as favorites by some "analysts" to win the AL Central. Lmao

Their pitching would probably get them there with a better offence.

Have you seen their pitchers? That isn't really a joke, their team has a lot of talent.

lol

1) Angel Hernandez:

The most infuriating aspect of an official (in any sport) is when it appears they want more attention than the players. This foolish frame of mind is sculpted in the head of Hernandez. Tell me when you have heard a fan say they came to the ballpark to watch an umpire. But it doesn’t stop there, as he combines that ego with egregious errors.

There are some electric arms coming out of both teams' bullpens. I'm having a blast watching this game. Usually I would envy teams who were able to put gas throwers inning after inning, but our BP is also filthy now :D

True, but their lineup is pretty bad. Can't win much if you don't score runs.

Espn experts picked Boston, Cleveland and Seattle as the first place teams.

2) C.B. Bucknor

This man is probably most relieved of the implementation of expanded instant replay. Still, someone generous should give him a give him a gift certificate to LensCrafters in order to fix his obvious lack of eyesight.

If one ever dares let him call a game from behind the plate, get ready for an ever-changing strike zone sure to confuse and infuriate batters, pitchers, managers and fans alike. S0, it’s no surprise that Bucknor has been voted the worst in baseball on multiple occasions.

+1 I'm also loving the fact that the Yankees are burning their bullpen up.

you see, they do punish umps, once a century.

4) Bob Davidson

In May 2012, Davidson was suspended one game for “repeated violations of the Office of the Commissioner’s standards for situation handling.” It’s the first time in recent memory that an umpire was reprimanded so severely for his performance on the field, and was probably applauded by players who voted him the fourth-worst umpire in a 2011 Sports Illustrated poll.

The tipping point for this rare action came when his quick temper led to a heated argument with former Phillies manager Charlie Manuel.
